The Pats are taking a 15-1 team at home and wiping the floor with them. This a week after completely stopping one of the best offenses in the past 10 years in the NFL. Offense, defense, coaching, is anybody close to these guys right now? They have only lost 2 games in the past 2 years and are undefeated in the playoffs. WOW!!! I don't think Philly has a prayer. IMO if Brady wins another Super Bowl than he moves into Joe Montana country. I hate the Pats but they ceratinly have my respect.

Sorry the memory is not as good as it used to be The extra week did give Tuna and Evil Bill more time to strategize on how to stop the no huddle. -

I remember that game well. During halftime the realization that Buffalo curse was over and we were finally going to the Super Bowl set in! The whole second half was a euphoric haze for me although I do remember KD third td. Several of my friends already had won Super Bowl tickets in the lottery. The following week and wide-right burned a hole in all our hearts but what a wild ride! -
It was especially sad to see what had become of Empire recently. The lack of a weekend sportscast and no Bills post game show really sucked. When Howard Simon left you knew it was only a matter of time before they pulled the plug. For an out of towner, Empire Sports in it's prime was a great way to keep up with the Bills and Sabres. I used to really enjoy their training camp coverage. Other than Jim Brinson (the talking toupe), I liked the sportscasters and all the players shows during the week. Even Art Wander was hoot! Empre Sports RIP

That one was one of the greatest days of my life. What a game. It was like woodstock @ the 'Ralph. I never had some much love from so many people -
The "snowstorm" is working it's way to the NC coast this eveninh. Yaho! 1 inch closes this place down. I think our county has 1 plow

I read in the Raleigh NC newspaper that the new Syracuse AD had said it would be "wrong" for 2 people from the same institution to leave to go another school or something along those lines. Didnt make sense to me.

Great analysis. I used to be a big Josh Reed supporter but he has vanished from this offense. The lack of a credible slot receiver after Cambell got hurt really limited Drews effectiveness. Cambell was really coming on before he got injured. I think today Sam Aiken passed Josh on the depth chart and he may not be long for this team.

We went downfield one time today

Your right. I think even Sam Aiken caught more balls than Lee Evans -
It definetly was the right call. Calling it 1 yard for a first is being generous. We make the kick and we are up by 4 with the Steelers third string QB in the game and the D holding them to FG's. Too bad our FG kicker has a cement foot!

Back From Game - A Wakeup Call For Our Fans
rastabillz replied to Mark VI's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mark thanks for all the great post game posts. I really think you covered most if not all the areas we need to improve on for next year. I don't want to load on Drew, because clearly this loss was not entirely his fault, but it does illustrate why we need to go in a different direction at QB next year. Drew to his credit is a warrior and played his heart out for the team, however, that is not enough to lift the team to the next level. Todays game was microcosom of his career in Buffalo, poor throws, costly turnovers, holding on to the ball too long and losing a big must win game. I think it is fair to say that Lindell just flat out sucks. It's bad enough his kicks outside 40 yards are iffy, but to miss a chip shot FG in a close game at home with the playoffs on the line is inexcusable. What was most disheartening to me with this loss was the way the Steelers were able to control both lines of scrimmage throughout the game, often with their second string players. In a game of this importance I figured we would be a lot more physical. The stupid penalties also showed a lack of focus needed to win a game of this magnitude. I do believe this team is headed on the right track though. After 0-4, 1-5, 3-6, who would have thought we would be playing for a playoff spot? I am extremely proud of how they put it together. It was a great ride. They gave us a taste of consistent winning and have set the bar higher for next season. -
From one North Carolina Bills fan to another, congratulations! I have 3 beautiful children of my own. Enjoy, it is one hell of an adventure

(OT) The Beatles - The Capitol Albums Vol. 1
rastabillz replied to Mark VI's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have the Beatles Anthology series but I forget to put this on my x-mas list. I am also a huge Beatles fan, my mom tells me I used to listen to her albums when I was 3. I will most definetly pick this cd set up this weekend as present to myself for the Bills making the playoffs! -
I would vote for the O-line as a whole. The emergence of Willis which has taken a lot of pressure off Bledsoe gets my vote for MVP.

We all appreciate what a great player Favre is but the constant cannonization is getting beyond annoying.

As much as most of us want to change direction in QB, I just don't see them benching Drew, especially with such a large contract. Don't forget even if we cut him at the end of the year, his cap hit will be around 4 million next year. I just don't understand why they resigned Drew this year. Certainly the top brass knew that DB was on a steep decline. I can understand fans taking longer to come to this conclusion because we think with our hearts. What really makes this frustrating is you look at the Bears and Steelers and see that rookie QB's can have success.

I've got 8 million ($) reasons why Drew will be starting this weekend. The bigger question is why did Donahoe sign a washed up QB when we could have made a clean break with DB this year?
