Mike, Get well soon. My cousin and a good friend at work both suffer from Krohns. Depending on how severe of a case you have, the initial stages can be rough but eventually the disease is controlable. My cousin had a bad case and had to go on a steriod treatment which puffed him up like Jerry Lewis, but he is doing much better now. Last year we took the Famliy to Disney to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary. We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge and the kids loved it (7,5,3 yrs old). Our room had a great view of where the animals roam and the kids would get up early every morning to see them. Like another poster stated staying on Disney has it's advantages, special early park openings, free shuttles to the parks, activities at the hotels. I would reccomend getting Biranbaums(sp) Disney Guide book to help you plan your trip. We were able to book special lunches and dinners with the characters which I understand book up quick.

I've been off work the past few days but last time I did look closely at the weather (thu) it looked like the cold pattern was beginning to break down. Here in NC we will have unsettled weather with temps near or a little below normal for the next week then more spring like weather should return.

This thread brought a tear to my eye. St. Joesphs day was huge in my family when growing up. My grandmother (God rest her soul) used to put out a huge spread. My mom and aunts carried on the tradition after she passed, but since I moved out of WNY 11 years ago I haven't celebrated it. Have a spinge for me!

I saw a short documentary on this on the History Channel the other night. The man who came up with the theory was Professer of Mathematics from MIT who used the schools old IBM punch card computer to prove a therom he formulated on the changing odds in blackjack. He published his findings in a peer reviewed journal but had yet to prove it in real life. He started getting press about the unusual subject matter of his research and finally professional gamblers began to contact him. He eventually linked up with a NYC gambler with mob ties. They went to Reno Neveda to try the system out. They succeeded in every casino eventually being kicked out of every casino under suspecion of cheating. That was the last time the MIT Professer tried out the system himself. He published the book which went on to be a best seller and evetually went on to develop hedge funds on Wallstreet where he made multi millions.
