  1. I may out there on a limb but I doubt we could have gotten anything for Scobel who has maybe 1 more season left in him.
  2. What exactly do you think we could have got for him?
  3. The Pats look like a team in decline. Unfortunately for us we are on our third rebuilding movement.
  4. Hate is not a strong enough word. I loathe them.
  5. For any Rush fans out there I would recommend reading "The Ghost Rider" by Neil Pert. Just finished a friends copy.
  6. In totality the band hit an artistic peak with Gabriel culminating in the LLDOB. Foxtrot, and Selling England by the Pound were also prog rock materpieces. I thought the first 2 post Gabriel era albums Trick of the Tale and Wind and Wuthering were excellent albums in their own right and compare very favorably with the Gabriel era material. Things went downhill for me as a fan after guitarist Steve Hackket left the band. The followup album And then there were Three is not bad at all, very heavy in Tony Banks keyboards and overall melancholy feel. The single Follow You, Follow Me was preview of the popier sound the band would take in subsequent years. Duke is alright but Abacab to me was a fiasco and I lost interest them afterwards.
  7. I don't think the Razerback offense coverted 1 third down the entire game and OT. Please stay in school another year Mr. Mallett.
  8. Just saw the interview on ESPN and I agree Leach comes off looking small. From the outside looking in, it appears to me that Leach handled the situation incorrectly. There are plenty of ways a coach get teach a prima donna athelete a lesson. Confining him to a "closet" no matter how large it is not one of them. I can't imagine a Joe Paterno or Lou Holtz doing something like this.
  9. I agree Cincy. He has been a dissapoitment the past 2 years. I guess the Jets are banking that a change of scenery will get him back to 2007 season levels.
  10. I wish the players would shut up and win a game to show their support.
  11. The Trent Edwards era is coming to an end. By next season we will have a new coach and I would expect a new coach is going to want his own guy in there. As for me I have given up hope that Trent is the anwser for us. He may be marginally better than JP but he has the smell of career back up to me.
  12. I would like to thank the Bills ownership, front office, coaches, and players for that bowel movement of a performance today. We didn't even compete. An 0-3 team with a QB playing his first NFL game wiped the floor with us. At this point I doubt we could beat Duke
  13. I agree. I doubt Scott walks into a dealership and pays sticker price for a new car. Directv has made the price of ST negotiable. We just call up and ask what they can do for us as long time customers (12 years). Over the past several years they have offered us generous discounts. I see nothing amoral about that and am I not asking for "free football".
  14. I spend pre-season praying none of starters get injured. It is much too long. 2 pretend games sounds about right to me.
  15. Usually hope springs eternal during pre season. I haven't seen this much pessimism before a Bills season in a long time. Not that it isn't deserved. For me there has been a black cloud hanging over this team since the middle of last season. Probably the losing combined with moving games to Toronto did me in. Over the cousre of the past several seasons I have gone from hoping to win a Super Bowl, to hoping to make the playoffs, to now hoping the team doesn't move in my lifetime. It's like the orgainization is on life support and we are watching it die in slow motion.
  16. The put he made on 18 in regulation kept the pressure on Watson. Once Watson overshot the green on second shot I was thinking palyoff becuase all the previous players were overshooting theit puts from that location.
  17. It's becoming like an annual tradition.
