  1. Gimme a Piva and put it on their tab.
  2. Something else to think about... After losing Petting after just one season like we did, don't you think that Marrone would have got Schwartz to give some kind of guarantee that he would stick around for at least 2 or 3 years if asked to? If Schwartz was gone after one year, I would consider that a bad oversight by Marrone for at least not getting a handshake promise that he would stick if this team showed it is on the rise.
  3. You mean genital warts? Cuz, I don't think supermodels would be supermodels if they had any on their faces or other noticeable places. If I get a chance to get with Marisa Miller, I'm not throwing her out of bed just because she has a booger hanging out her nose. I just roll her over and stuff her head in a pillow to get it to wipe off. You know what I mean?
  4. Yes it should be played after field goals because we have Dick Jauron Doug Marrone as head coach and he plays for field goals. Touchdowns are like getting extra sprinkles on your ice cream in this coach's mind.
  5. Why does that make him smart? If the dude has aspirations of leading a team to a Superbowl victory as a head coach or making the hall of fame as a head coach, then why would it be a smart move to turn down a chance to make his dreams come true? That is not what ambitious winners do. They take the opportunity and try to make the most of it. If he is offered the right opportunity to head coach another NFL team, you can bet he is gone.
  6. You mean plantar fasciitis? Or, were you trying to be facetious? Or, are you saying Orton is a Fascist Nazi gardener?
  7. It is so easy to blame everything on Orton because he is the one with the football in his hands after every snap. It is really easy to just say he sucks and the lack of offensive production is his fault. I just wish this coach could find a handful of pass plays, including a couple that are designed to go more than 10 yards over the middle, that this offense could actually execute reasonably well. Give me 5 friggin pass plays. So far the count is zero. If coaching is not a major part of the problem, then how do you explain the fact that even when the Bills do execute a play well, why does it seem we never go back to that play again that game?
  8. Sparano not wearing the shades anymore? Seemed weird. He looks like a normal guy without the sunglasses.
  9. Yes I agree. I think that both Hackett and Marrone are basically in sync with this piece of crap offense. And I think that they truly believe their offense is awesome and just wish they had Tom Brady or Peyton Manning at quarterback so that everyone could see what geniuses they are. Based on his stance with Crossman last year, I get the impression that Marrone will not be willing to part ways with Hackett. And with that being said, I say can them both. If Marrone was willing to bring in a more talented offensive mind at offensive coordinator then I would be fine with Marrone staying. Otherwise....do widzenia!
  10. Against the Patriots? Dude....come on... Bills could give Bicarri Rambo an assault rifle with extra clips to take into the game against the Patriots and the Bills could still end up losing.
  11. The Bills have to do better than Cutler. Signing that guy would be a major mistake. I don't see one likable quality in Cutler.
  12. Dude they just made the Bills look stupid a month ago. And they actually do beat the Patriots sometimes. If you have to be "soft" to beat the Patriots, sign up our coaching staff for some softness training.
  13. I wouldn't read too much into this. To me it just sounds like one Good ole boy sticking up for a buddy of his. That is how these guys get to be good ole boys. You make strong friendships by sticking up for your buddies publicly. That is all I see happening here. Brandon took a moment to strengthen a friendship and try to help his buddy out to keep his job. Even if Marrone gets the ax now, he will know that Brandon had no part in it.
  14. Yes I agree. I think Miami is turning a corner and is going to be a challenge for the Bills to beat again from here on out. I hope they fire him so that they set themselves back for a year or so. I think they are nuts if they do it, but go ahead Miami.
  15. I would rather not talk about EJ either. As of right now the guy is simply a backup QB on a team with below average quarterbacks. But if you read any of this thread except for my post you would see that I am not the one who brought EJ into this conversation. I was simply responding to the people who did bring him into this conversation. Every time there is a discussion about Orton and his drawbacks, the EJ fan base comes in and starts saying how EJ should be playing and how EJ is better than Orton blah blah blah. You want to B word about the EJ talk, go B word at them.
  16. I am happy to report that every single Packers fan I came in contact with while tailgating and at the game itself were very sportsman-like, fun and classy. Even after the loss, they took it well and fist bumped with me a lot and said good game. And I am sad to report that there was a (mostly hammered) twenty something dude in my section who kept yelling ridiculous obscenities (like mother effers) at every Packers fan in the area even Packers fans who were like boyfriend girlfriend couples or husbands and wives. Pretty sad display. Made me feel sad for my community. Dude should have had some teeth knocked out.
  17. You want proof? Go ask the Bills receivers who they want running the offense and who they want throwing them the ball. Case closed.
  18. I am amazed at the ability of Bills fans to go gather specific stats of their choice in order to twist reality and try to make a point. Orton clearly possesses more football awareness than EJ. That is not even close in my opinion. You can see it most obviously when he is in shotgun formation. He is still more accurate than EJ and gives you the best chance to win (even when considering all his faults). If the coach decided to start EJ now, and if the Bills lost either of the next two games with EJ in there, then it would go down in history as one of the absolute dumbest moves ever made by a Bills head coach. The fact that the Bills have had so many changes at quarterback over the last 2 years and the fact that absolutely none of them have really executed this offense well, should raise some questions about what kind of piece of crap offense design this team is running. This team, even with Orton as QB, would be scoring a lot more points with a better offensive coordinator in my opinion.
  19. You've got that backwards dude.... Those schmucks come to this forum to find material for their shows. They talk about these topics because these are the topics that Bills fans are discussing around water coolers. Seriously.... pay close attention to what is said here and then pay attention to what the topics are on the sports talk shows. It is humorous. They literally come here for ideas about what to talk about. After a game, you will here a point made here before you will hear it on that radio station.
  20. It is a sad state of affairs for quarterbacks in the NFL when threads like this start popping up...... Better than EJ? Prove it... That is an insult to EJ even after that Houston game...
  21. Nope..Those are your words not mine. I specifically said 80% as efficient. And only on a handful of passing plays that are run regularly on just about every series lake Brady's over the middle plays to Edelmen and Gronkowski. They run them again and again and again series after series and continually execute them. The Bills should be able to execute those exact same plays with about 80% the efficiency as those guys. Edelman is used just as Welker was in the same friggin plays. And the Patriots continue to convert first downs with them game after game after game. And they don't require the offensive line to perform any kind of spectacular pass blocking. But don't use the Patriots as an example if you don't want. Pick any highly effective passing team and you will see they do the same thing. They execute the same plays with regularity that don't rely on the offensive line doing anything spectacular. An above average o-line makes them even more effective. But part of the reason their offensive lines look so good is because the pass is airborne quickly.
  22. I think overall this offense is designed with the quarterback doing way too much thinking and analyzing while in the pocket and that is at least partially responsible for some of the lack of production. Before the snap of the ball, the quarterback should be reasonably certain where he is going with the football so that he can just do a quick check and let it fly. The most effective passing teams usually operate this way, most specifically New England and Denver. The reason they can get rid of the ball so quickly is because the QB is almost certain where he is going with the ball even before the snap. They don't have to drop back and make 3 reads. They make one and they know, because of experience and because of the play design vs the defense out there, they know that they receiver is very likely to be open. This is also a large part of the reason why the K-gun was so effective when Jim Kelly used to operate it. Yes it helps a lot that those two quarterbacks are exceptionally accurate. I don't expect a Bills quarterback like Orton to be that accurate. But I do expect the offensive coaches to be able to design the same types of plays or simply just copy the exact plays that those other more effective offenses are running. The Bills won't execute them with the same efficacy as those teams, but why can't the Bills execute them with 80% as much success as those better teams. If they can't it says a lot about the lack of ability of the coaching staff.
  23. Well I am glad that at least you admit pretty much nobody on that offense except maybe Henderson is playing better than any reasonably logical person would expect. Just admitting that fact alone is somewhat of an indictment of the offensive coaching of this team. I stated how I would attack Green Bay in another thread on this forum. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/173974-offensive-strategy-for-beating-the-packers-this-sunday/ In general, I would run a spread offense and have Orton operating out of shotgun. I would run lots of draws and shovel passes out of the shotgun which should help compensate for poor run blocking. In fact, the Bills did it a few weeks ago and it worked well. (can't think of which game, but I distinctly remember them doing it because I was talking about them needing to try it on this forum leading up to whatever game that was.) I would have my speed guys (Goodwin & Watkins) running more go routes and Chandler using the middle of the field frequently in the passing game. I would be telling Orton he has my full blessing to throw deep as many times as he can as long as it is single coverage on the receiver. If he throws a pick, so be it. I would also experiment with letting Orton run the two minute drill the entire game or at least during more parts of the game especially after the Bills get a turnover from the other team. I would throw for the home run the first play every single time the other team committed a turnover. Those are some of the things I would try off the top of my head.
  24. Pick one? Go right down the line. You know all 11 starters and the other players rotated in. Picky anyone of them that you think is outperforming or playing better than his talent level appeared last year or the year before. I suggested Henderson is playing well compared to how an objective person might have expected. Who else?
