  1. Lol you were watching McGill too haha. Yeah I tell my uncle they should just try him at safety. He is big enough. I will give you that. I think Willoughby is overrated too. Devon Hughes is ok. And Boise Ross was looking promising before the switch to DB. This may be the lowest talent on the overall team in a long time. He is Joe Cool. Lets see what happens today. Ill be there in a half hour. I had no idea Ernest Jackson played for the BC lions. That was a hell of a wide out Hundred percent on Neutz
  2. Without even breaking it down and just watching. Your last sentence is obvious. Overconfidence gets you beat
  3. Yes please do. His numbers are very deceiving. Only played well versus Fcs Duquesne MEAC Norfolk state.... kind of. Looked bad at Baylor. Army I didnt see. But going into conference play it might be tough. I believe it's Miami Ohio this week. I haven't seen an Oakland game yet but can someone tell me if they are using him as a rush linebacker? Or traditional 43? If the latter. I will be shocked.
  4. I know what you mean though. There is 4.43 football speed. And there is 4.43 track speed. He didnt look to be a burner on thr field. He didnt run passed people or really outrun anyone.
  5. I wanted Janoris Jenkins. Hows he doing in STL? Is he even still there
  6. Played half the season without a cast. And with that said he would give up tackles maybe a few catches. I think I need to gauge your value of Gilmores ceiling. Do you think he is lock down or above average. Lockdown corners could win matchup with positioning, club or no club. A number 10 draft pick doesnt get face planted by a stiff arm from a no name running back. A lockdown doesnt get beat for touchdowns in consecutive games without causing turnovers. And if I recall McKelvin went into camp with a lower body procedure from the off season as well. Rusty. Sure but he shows up win lose or draw. Anyone who doesnt see Graham as our clear cut best corner and should be starting is nuts. Outside of thay. We have 2 system corners and another who we are still waiting on. McKelvin needs front 7 pressure to be effective. And Robey needs to be a blitzing slot cover guy. Im just waiting for us to figure it out.
  7. Dixon too. I dont know why... but his running ability AND deceptive for his size speed leave me really intrigued. I want to see what else he can do.
  8. Not disagreeing. But how many of those garbage time throws went incomplete. Dragging down his completion percentage. His stat line could have looked beautiful had they not forcefed those last three shots into the end zone further skewing an argument for or against him.
  9. Let me preface this by saying I'm in no way a Dareus fan. But he was the consensus bpa at 3 from most mocks and a few experts. Isn't that the year of AJ Green and or Julio Jones too... AND my wish list pick that year. JJ Watt
  10. To your point. I think we have guys.... namely M Williams and R Woods that like the contact. Add just need all to buy in abd get physical.
  11. I can get on board with this sentiment. I understand what you are saying. I dont think he deserves a verbal ass kicking but I do think he needs to step up. He admitted it now lets see if it happens again. Im sitting here watching the Miami game again. And I completely see where they lost the charger game. This team against the dolphins was pumped. They were electrified. They were ALL flat against the chargers. I think the game plan was lacking on both sides of the ball. I mention this to say that they all took plays off on Sunday. And it was obvious.
  12. I dont think that really comes into play unless we start 5-0. We won 2 great looking games. But its just 2 right now. I look at ebery game as if they are trying to get the W. Almost like they are starting over 0-0 every week. Its just me but thats how I personally looked at my games during my basketball days too. It helps keep things in perspective. 13. Lol ok you called me out. It was a great catch. Now in all seriousness I just need him to have consistency. I don't need a world beater. Just give me a te who can be relied upon to use his size and hands ay the same time consistently.
  14. In my opinion McKelvin always stuck to his man, yet had bad ball skills. Thats all he was missing the whole time. Gilmore doesnt have the awareness to stay with his receiver. He uses hands way too much and his ball skills are questionable to this point. And to your second point. When Revis, Sherman, and Charles Woodson (obviously more earlier in his career) is out there on the 1, teams find other ways to move the ball. And find other ways to get the number one in the game.
  15. Uh. How do you play all three then? Who starts. Robey ABSOLUTELY does belong because of you play all three. Robey sits. Unless you are talking rotating. In which case this thread is moot. As I said before it should be Graham McKelvin and Robey. Gilmore can rotate in
  16. Why? Gilmore might be rusty. And HE said he is better. He is better because GRAHAM IS BREATHING DOWN HIS NECK. He isnt dumb. He knows he has something to provide to the coaching staff. Schwartz doesnt "know him". And McKelvin, played well against 2 great wrs and "rusty" and Gilmore has no game film in this system. He knows he needs to see the field NOW
  17. At first I was just gonna agree with the guy you responded to. But now im thinking... We cant because we already have 3. Gilmore wont unseat any of Robey McKelvin and if Graham wasn't a fluke. Gilmore wont unseat him either
  18. McKelvin was a high pick once upon a time. And Gilmore wasnt Marrones pick so I dont see how that really matters. If you go based on performance it should be Graham, McKelvin, Robey, and Gilmore. But you are kind of correct with the draft position and age factor. So Gilmore should be given the chance to EARN, not his spot, because if we look at it objectively we anointed him to start day one but he hasn't shown any dominance yet, A spot amongst the top 3 guys. Anyone who reads my posts will see that I believe in open competitions. And this area DEFINITELY needs a challenge soon. And I also think Gilmore should try safety. Something about him leads me to believe he can do it
  19. Also an incredibly young team that is being asked to keep composure. And execute? They get happy pumped whatever that's fine but just as we beat the bears. They just took the decade long OWNERS of the division to the wood shed. Same euphoria in Miami I'm sure. So today I'll sit on. This game has a 50 percent chance of winning. And a 50 percent chance of losing.
  20. m I swear I saw it somewhere in the last 2 days. Could be wrong. Why not check an EJ post lol
  21. Thank you. I don't know why but I feel uneasy. I have worked the outbound dolphins charter the last 2 years and have loved seeing their sad faces get on the plane. Don't let this be a jinx post. I can't stand the thought of losing to the dolphins Sunday.
  22. I definitely agree with this. It's not a force feed thing but he shouldn't have cart Blanche either. If we all could agree that he is average AT BEST then I don't think this convo happens.
  23. He had 53 receptions. Put that argument to bed. Where would that total rank on most teams.
  24. It depends on the topic. But anything over 10 is kind of ridiculous
