  1. The part I love of this obsession with Jan 6th is that most of the people that did illegal things that day have been arrested and will be tried. At the same time so many of the people who did illegal things all of 2020 that were arrested will not be charged. I do not know anyone who supports the Jan 6th events but I know a lot of liberals who support the same actions against Trump.
  2. Why would you allow a bad cartoon cause you that much pain? You should not allow small words bother you to the point you will be silent.
  3. Chart might not be BS- California has gas prices that are Already at 4.15 a gallon and California has a lot of people which will weigh heavily. A better guage would be median price.
  4. I wish all the reporters making statements on what they heard would put up money on what happens. It is amazing to me that all these rumors get more attention then the actual results of other sports going on right now.
  5. Actually what this is is comparing is the amount of higher degrees that many teachers have, in NY it is required to have a masters and many have doctorates. A doctorate in education for a teacher is not nearly as valuable as a doctorate in most other fields. So if all teachers have masters you are not comparing it to those with just a bachelor's. It also does not touch on the fact that their have been studies showing the higher degree has nothing to do with being a better teacher.
  6. The cliff notes? You can't give me one fact that disputes that Israel has every right to the territory but I am suppose to care about some minor detail that makes Israel the bad guy.
  7. I did give a well founded comment and you ignored facts with a childish retort. You did not dispute one idea or concept but then blame me for you not understanding.
  8. What? And your evidence is? Who are they stealing from? Seriously I could be persuaded here but that response is just funny.
  9. Why was it more secure than the one in 2012 or 2016? You actually believe that making law changes less than 4 months before an election that increased the number of ballots being sent out to unconfirmed addresses made it more secure? I can't imagine being that dumb
  10. Interesting argument- we need to have an election actually stolen before we should consider how to make it more secure. How about we recognize that the 2020 election was the least secure in some time due to a pandemic and take lessons from it, how about we try to make voting more accessible compared to 2016 while making it more secure than 2020.
  11. I am curious how you come to the conclusion that Israel is not by every right the property of the Jews. They inhabited it 3000 years ago at the beginning of the records of the area, they were violently overtaken, and then took it back. They have the majority of the people in Israel, they give the Palestinian Arabs more rights than any other country in the area, and they have the military might in the area. The main argument against them is that Britain and the US put Israel in control but that does not negate all of the other facts that are more important.
  12. Then please show me your math on your comment?
  13. I am not sure how to frame this so I hope it goes in a good direction: when is government too authoritarian? Where do you draw the line and realize a bridge has been crossed that is truly scary? For me it is the arrest of the pastors in Canada for allowing people to come to their church. That is truly authoritarian and it is evil. I am curious if anyone else felt that way with another one.
  14. Them why did you respond to my specific post? And why did you respond a second time to my specific post? I accept that neither side is clean or reasonable but the violent threats what bothers me and that is what I am calling out
  15. So you argued against me while having no clue what I was referencing and then when I clarify you still have no idea what I am referencing but your point is right because you are gonna stay ignorant so you can still be right. I will clarify one last time, the straight economic boycott is not what I find particularly objectionable but when it is backed up with the threat of violence if the left does not get its way. And you have proven the right does not do that.
  16. Canada is a mess of epic proportions now. I use to think they were similar to USA but they are creeping ever closer to communism. They are literally arresting pastors for having mass without evidence he is causing anyone problems, only that he is breaking their rules. The control the govt has is immoral, illogical and does not follow the science at all.
  17. You are missing one key component of my question- the mayor said she fired the cop for doing his job to appease the mob from burnt Ng down the city. When did the right threaten to burn down a city? There is a big difference between not buying products and threatening harm. I will not spend money on the NBA so long as they have players who formally endorse companies that own slaves( Klay Thompson) but I will not burn them to the ground. It is a large difference but you guys keep acting like my not buying Nike is the same as burning down ATL.
  18. So if Liz Cheney is kept in her position what city will be destroyed? These two are being held responsible for their votes, which is a large part of the definition of being a politician. You have to be a political hack to compare the two.
  19. I agree with your overall premise that the straight welfare for doing nothing is worse than minimum wage but minimum wage should be considered your first step, so keep it low
  20. The principal still messed up but this kind of parenting is not surprising. I once had a mother email me to discuss with her daughters boyfriend that a "gentleman does not go into a young girls bedroom" because the mom did not want to tell her daughter no because their is only the one reason for saying no. I declined to get involved.
  21. I am challenging you if you can come up with something as "cancel culture" from the right as the ATL cop who lost his job without due process for doing his job properly? You might be able to, but I doubt it. That to me is the definition of cancel culture- do as we say, because we say it, or we destroy things.
  22. The second part of the question is the issue. The "experts" are not particularly good at their predictions but politicians know how to use the numbers to their advantage
  23. Dude your math sucks- which explains why you are a democrat.
  24. That is a lie. The states "that took it more seriously" are doing terrible while the states that let us live our lives(FL, TX) are doing well. You are stupid enough to believe that, you are simply trying to justify the fact liberals are terrible people.
  25. If she was literally shaking when ever walking near a white person in Denver then she was shaking whenever she went out since Denver is a really white city. But more importantly she is a bigot, to hold people responsible for actions they do not take or approve of is the height of privilege and bigotry
