  1. i did not watch nearly enough Reggie to make an informed decision but Bruce was a dominant presence on a D line with lesser talent- Jeff Wright- and was able to cause much more damage on his own. As for leadership it was almost certainly Reggie since Bruce did not lead except by dping his job on field.
  2. does PFF make any adjustments for injury time- guys who are only available 4 days a year make for great fantasy teams but not good real teams.
  3. supposedly that dinner happened here in Orlando when orlando had the inside track. the GM did not want Duncan to leave town without a deal and Pop came here. i have heard the dinner was at about 10 different restaurants so I am less certain it is true.
  4. i do not disagree overall but do you think he continues his impact without Watt and all his money in hand? i think he will impact us less and likely get lazy.
  5. i actually enjoyed watching mckenzie also but i think he is redundant with who we brought in. Though i will certainly state if they work well with Allen everything else is not important.
  6. i would think duke williams would make it over McKenzie or Roberts unless both have big impacts on special teams.
  7. i doubt he would come here unless he got a big contract which is a big pass at that point. if for 2 years 15 million total yes but i doubt that gets it done.
  8. you make choices at Buffalo since the tickets are so cheap. just getting into Jerry world or Atl is so much that cheap hot dogs does mean much to me.
  9. I understand that but I think with the exception of the top 8 of each draft the slots are basically what they were getting anyways before new CBA. So while certainly a valid point I think they will not fight it.
  10. it would only matter if we could play NE in Buffalo in playoffs- other than that a win is a win and the superbowl won vs Cowboys or Seahawks- hawks only because i hate Carroll for giving brady another ring.
  11. I do not know enough about their Oline but unless they have a top 3 Oline Jackson will have major issues this year. Skill position around him do not mean much if he can not throw to them
  12. I am so happy that I said something like that without having the knowledge of what happened last time-I am so smrt.?
  13. i am not questioning your accuracy but how do you know who was arguing which way on that? was it public knowledge at the time?
  14. i do not think that most of the players fight to hard on the rookie salary slots- the slots only hurt a handful of players each year and most guys probably resent a rookie who would be guaranteed 80 million without any production especially in a salary cap league. i would think they would fight hard for a bigger piece of pie overall and to limit Goddells power.
  15. i am an SU fan and watched closely McNabb and think he should be in. his numbers are really good and for many years he was the only true talent on that offense. the biggest difference between him and russell wilson right now is wilsons team won the super bowl but that was all defense. i know he is not a surefire guy but some guys on here are being unrealistic about the accomplishments of McNabb.
  16. given the choices including compensation i picked Rudolph easily- the scariest part of Clowney is money and i do not want Bell that much.
  17. KC was a great city though it had overrated BBQ- Cleveland has nice areas and some of the worst. i say this having worked for a month or more in about 60 cities. But no city should be represented by their worse except for Pats* fans.
  18. i would think you skip the year to try and use as leverage for some city to build stadium. dangle draft in front of Buffalo politicians and see if they bite. or as stated earlier it is going international and cities are bidding. i could definitely see it in Toronto or Mexico city.
  19. i hope we do not make a trade for him for anything more than a 3rd- but if this somehow came to be i would hope we plan to keep him for one year only.
  20. i wish EJ the best and he was brought into the wrong system with the wrong coach but he was not good enough consistently enough to argue he should be a starter. he was not reliable enough to be a top end backup- so he is out of league due to his own game tape.
  21. i read an article the other day- i can not remember where- that was written by SB referee of the Rams vs Pats*. he stated that under new rule the rams could have challenged a throw to the one yard line that would have been overturned in their favor in 4th qtr. In that case it would have definitely changed the game. when it comes to NFL officials I think the line from " Catch Me If You Can" applies to Pats* " The same reason the Yankees keep winning- they are distracted by the pinstripes"
  22. a guy that has good technique but needs to beef up his muscle is a guy who can be an all pro in three years more easily than a physical freak with no technique. i hope he can get stronger but i am confident he will be adequate until then.
  23. i think beasley will be the most important if Allen learns where he will be on 3rd on midrange. Beasley seemed to be very adept at getting 7 when 6 is needed, which can be a qbs best friend.
  24. i have a theory that having a crazy styled backup would be a good thing- if your qb goes down you best throw something new at them since your backup is clearly not a top 30 qb so go with something the defense has never seen. this is why i hope he makes team.
  25. i would like Clowney but not at a loss of draft capital- i would prefer Gerald McCoy at 2 years and 20 million to Clowney if it requires a 1st.
