I am honestly worried that this prosecutor is going to mess this up. He has spent 3 days setting the scene with witnesses but has shown us nothing new. I was never a lawyer but it seems they could have shown the video for all the facts we need and then turned it over to the defense. I don't understand what the store clerk or all the bystanders has to do with chauvins actions, they already wish they had done things differently. I am worried that the prosecutor will spend too much time winding up the emotion and then not enough on how he broke the law.

This a thousand times- I am in Florida and have been face to face since August and will state as a fact that if the teachers follow proper protocols that there is basically a zero percent chance of catching Covid. No one in my school has caught it at school, and the few kids who caught it from family since they were masked up before recognition they were not a threat to others. It does take some deliberate planning about classroom set up but space everyone out as best as possible and make sure as a teacher you are vigilant for masks and kids moving about. One other point I will make is that in Orange County the schools with rich parents have the most kids back while the title one schools have the least. The gap this year between the haves and have nots is growing greatly and much has to do with parents.

I don't have one single game but I had a job where I traveled around the country and spent many sunday's on the road from 2006-2013. I never missed a game and often had to move appt around and when I was on west coast I would usually start at 6am and get 8 hours of work by 10 am to watch Bills.

In Washington DC government employees who were working from home were first in line to get the vaccine. My family member who works from home for the state dept and is 39 years old got the vaccine in January while his father, who is 70 with cancer, had to wait till March to get it in NYS. Dude come off it " in the trenches", teaching is a high effort job but this kind of crap is why teachers are called whiners. Why do we require ID for anything? To ensure the person is who they claim to be. We have a right to get married, we still have to show proof of who we are before we are allowed. Now answer the question of why you think minorities are incapable of getting said ID when most already have ID to buy alcohol, plane tickets, get married, or go into any schools in my county.

Teaching is very different than other jobs so it is hard to compare directly since to be good at teaching you have to be emotionally invested. I was good at several jobs in the finance sector because I did not get emotional, it was money flowing and nothing else mattered.

The constitution was built on the basis of overthrowing a government and guns were the most advanced weapons on the planet at the time. I am curious if you lose sleep over the fact that allowing people to travel 80km an hour causes 10k more deaths than a permanent 30km an hour. If not why would someone having a freedom bother me if people having freedom does not bother you? I have two people I was friends with die separately because of cars plowing into their cars. My friends were not at fault but the other people were, no one demanded cars being removed, we charged the people.
