The main reason why the NFL has not expanded to Canada is the CFL. The NFL does not want to kill it, at least not yet. I am not sure of the league's popularity up north right now, so I don't know how much staying-power the league still has.
The first place the NFL will look to in Canada would be Toronto. I fear what that might do to the Bills ticket sales.
It's because we were the first independent country on the block and there's no other term for folks from the United States. Sorry Mexicans, if you wanted the name, you should have been your own country sooner. Whoops.
I am sorry if this has already been established, but it now seems clear that Wyche was fired and he did not resign. Has anyone tracked down the reason why Jauron and management didn't want him around?
Weren't the Bills 7-9 that year? I believe they were 7-7 going into the last two games and if they had won the last two games then they would have made the playoffs. I believe Kelly went down going into those last two and Reich was unable to lead the team very far.
Considering how the consensus of this board gave Donahoe the benefit of the doubt during the first four seasons without the playoffs, it's kind of funny how quick people are to dump Jauron.
From a Patriots fan perspective how do all the Bills' changes look? And doesn't your avatar make it seem like Tom Brady will eventually lead to the Patriots' downfall?
Weiss wasn't going to happen. TD wanted to go another year with Bledsoe and Weiss and him did not get along. I have my doubts that Weiss thought that he could win with Bledsoe.
