  1. Oh, my bad, he isn't? There's not many others to blame at this rate. We have tried the following during his tenure with crap results. 1. Four QBs: Rob Johnson, Alex Van Pelt, Drew Bledsoe, JP Leaf. 2. Too many OL to mention. 3. Two Head Coaches 4. Three Offensive Coordinators Is it Eric Moulds fault, is that what you are saying? By the way, Bill Cowher has gone to the playoffs multiple times without Tom Donahoe. On the other hand, Tom Donahoe has not gone to the playoffs without Bill Cowher. Excuses for Tom Donahoe 1. John Butler left the team in salary cap hell, we need to bite the bullet for one season. 2. We have a great offense with Drew Bledsoe, we just need to improve the defense. 3. We have the defense, now we just need to improve the offense. 4. We just have to wait for JP Losman to develop. When we go through the fifth rebuilding plan without smelling the playoffs, will it then be okay to blame Tom Donahoe? The Tom Donahoe causes cancer or whatever thread, seems really lame right now. Most teams do not anoint a low first round draft pick except when lacking better options, the player showing something in training camp or preseason, or the player stepping up when the original starter is injured. Top ten pick maybe, but Losman was a marginal first round talent at best.
  2. Shaud Williams sure has been contributing a lot on those third downs. Do you remember that screen pass for the crucial third down? How about that key draw play he pulled off recently? Oh no? Maybe he plays a crucial role in blocking...
  3. How many rebuilding projects are we supposed to go through? I think the vast majority of the NFL has gone to the playoffs since 1999. Since then, we have just gone through so many abortive rebuilding tracts. Perhaps I seem impatient, but I fail to see evidence that the team will have any better than 5 wins this year. Supposedly the idea was that the Bills were going to improve with Losman as QB, the seems unrealistic at this point. (I suppose he was supposed to be better than Bledsoe and also offset the loss of Pat Williams, and the aging of our vaunted defense.) My stock portfolio, the Orioles and now the Bills have all completely collapsed in less than three months. I have lost patience and hope for any things out of my control improving, the Bills included.
  4. Is that it's not like he's a gambler, throwing a lot of INTs but then showing signs of brilliance, but rather that he shows nothing at all. He reminds me of Kordell Stewart back in the day. Running around for no purpose, short-hopping or overthrowing passes. Most great QBs showed mistakes at this stage: misreading coverage, taking stupid risks, etc. Didn't Todd Collins do better at this point?
  5. Stop lying to us, they ain't winning with JP Losman this year.
  6. JP doesn't need to win games, he just needs to learn how to get passes near his receivers.
  7. The Steelers sure have been suffering without his genius insight.
  8. Oh but it was all John Butler's fault
  9. Not addressing the offensive line and not resigning Pat Williams were genius moves. Best Bills GM who never got them to the playoffs.
  10. I believe normally that it was the state legislature making the choice, but the doesn't change the validity of your point with which I agree.
  11. I assume you are pointing to it being a loss either way and I will grant that. However, a better performance in a loss gives more hope for the rest of the season than a worst performance in a loss. For example, we would probably be happy that a team lost 20-17 than 55-0 because the former shows that the team is at least competitive. However, I am not sure I would have preferred Bledsoe doing that on Sunday than JP. I just wish JP was already performing as well as Bledsoe. Likelihood of improvement does matter a lot to me.
  12. I like 200+ yards passing and 13 points over JP's production on Sunday.
  13. The offense seems a little bit more efficient under him with a weaker running game tho, right? Unless you are correcting for defensive quality.
  14. I have never understood the antipathy for Tasker's commentary that people often display here. I am always glad when he is covering the Bills. He usually keeps up with team news and therefore can provide commentary that others in the national media just can't. Also, whenever he's overcritical of the team it always just seems like a transparent attempt to cover up his true rooting interest.
  15. You might be looking at a line infringement suit if you are not careful. However, this is who I think it is: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6685/news
  16. You mention Price twice. Are you including Mark Price in this list or something?
  17. For the record, the Bills have not gone to the playoffs since we cut Erik Flowers.
  18. More specifically, price controls lead to shortages. You cannot force people to sell a product below cost and expect the same supply.
  19. Perhaps the lack of OT confused the OP.
  20. Price controls lead to shortages in supply. Therefore, that unfortunately will not work.
  21. Haha, "Price" is right? Hahaha, zing!
  22. I am a little slow, but why is there an argument here?
  23. Apparently the "church" just consists of some guy and his children and grandchildren.
  24. Thank you all for the advice so far. Just to clear up a couple of things. The tuition bill is fairly low right now. I don't mean to B word about my situation, just want to make sure I am doing the right thing. I don't think I would feel too obligated to go just to go, but I don't want to hint about leaving right away to people who will be affected by it. I gave up another school of slightly better quality to save money, but it means that I am going to the same law school as where I went to undergrad a little while ago and am still close to where I grew up. I never figured that all the NYC people would look down on me so much for this fact. I, myself, am beginning to doubt whether I should have gone elsewhere, but that would mean 20k more a year for a better back story.
