I totally understand why college football coaches often turn down the opportunity to coach in the NFL. A college football coach can have an entire career in one place and make tons of money. In the NFL, most fail and most leave after a few years.
No NFL team should resign itself to a 3-4 year plan in this day and age. Predictions for each year are often off the mark. Let's wait and see how the off-season and pre-seaon look before we eliminate the Bills from contention.
The Orioles tried to do the whole get a low-level guy from a winning organization when they hired Lee Mazzili. Since that didn't work so well, I am against gambling yet again on a young coaching prospect.
I don't understand Peter King's hatred for Art Monk That, coupled with his doubts that Thurman is a shoo-in for this year make him look like more and more of a tool. It is very clear that Paul Zimmerman is the true journalist at SI.
Pathetic thing is that Todd Collins did better as a first year starter than JP Losman did this year. Pretty similar situation with a journeyman taking his job too...
NBC and it will have the premier games that MNF currently has. Additionally, the schedule will be somewhat flexible for them towards the end of the schedule.
1. Just b/c MRIs are negative doesn't mean that JP is not hurt in some way that makes it silly to have him start.
2. More details will probably come out by tomorrow morning.
3. Chill out.
...make an attempt at looking smart when the game is over. Mark my words, the Bills win this one or at least beat the spread...
24-17 Bills is my prediction.
