Kincaid was wide open when Allen threw it. He had two or three steps on the defender. If Allen had placed it five yards further downfield, it might have been a TD.

As I've been saying for the last few years...just because the Bills are primarily built as a passing team and that the rules favor the passing game, that doesn't mean that a good running game isn't valuable and worth investing in.

James Cook and the OL deserve the most credit, but I'd just give it to the entire team, including the coaching staff. They pretty much destroyed the Cowboys in every aspect of the game.

Accounting for pass attempts, sacks and running plays, if you're going to put the ball in the QB's hands around 750 times per season, you're going to have to put up with some turnovers. I do think Allen's fumbles are an issue, but the career average of 1 INT per 40+ pass attempts is definitely manageable as long as he's putting points on the board. Matt Stafford led the league in INTs in 2021...the year they won the Super Bowl. Even this season it's been manageable and the biggest issue usually hasn't been the two or three extra INTs he's thrown over the course of the season, but that the offense was stalling out far too often in the final weeks with Ken Dorsey at OC. That's not to say there's no room for improvement and that he shouldn't work to eliminate as many INTs as he can, but it's not the end of the world.

The Jaguars and Dolphins were in a much better position to cover the middle on those two plays. If Davis just runs straight upfield against the Eagles, he's going to run right past the defender and there's no one else back there. Yes, he still gets open to the outside corner, but it's a much more difficult throw for Allen, especially with the Eagles blitzing, and it puts the CB between them. Watching that, and knowing it's an option route, I strongly suspect that's a mistake by Davis.

A 95% FG conversion rate would be right in line with the best three to five kickers in the league each year. For that to be the total against the Bills this far into the season is very likely a statistical abberation. It doesn't necessarily say anything about Bass, though again, this hasn't been his best year.

He's had some frustrating drops lately, but he's also played well enough as a whole that I don't think there's any real issue. It just seems like there's a collective case of bad luck going around this team this year.

There's nothing wrong with him. I agree, he's not having his best season, but today he had one blocked and missed a 48 yarder in a downpour. That's not something I'd panic or worry about moving forward.

They wont fire McDermott before the end of the year, but I'd be looking at the remaining games as an audition for Joe Brady. Regardless, I don't want another defensive HC. Ever.

Yeah, I suspect that he had to unload Dorsey. I'm glad it happened now rather than after the season. If they continue to lose, there won't be any more excuses.

In the short term, probably more of the same. Perhaps better playcalling tendencies, but there's not enough time to make major changes to the offensive philosophy at this point.
