Beas was also extremely "qb friendly" when the line broke down and Josh had to go backyard football mode and make something happen. The more I'm thinking about this pick the more I like it lol. Not to derail from the topic too much, but if Bean goes psycho mode and grabs that burner from TN as a development wr? We could be set for LAD (life after diggs).

I'm in agreement that this will be up to Dorsey. I made the terrible mistake of picking Kyle Pitts last season in fantasy, which lead to watching more Falcons games than usual. The take away I had was that atl was trying to stick a square peg in a round hole. They took a Jimmy Graham and tried to make him a George Kittle and his supreme athleticism was wasted trying to learn how to block on the line like a "traditional TE". We really just need DK to block down the field at a Gabe Davis / Robert Woods level and allow him to find open holes and make Dorsey look like an offensive mastermind lol. Sometimes when I watch KC I wonder how much is Andy Reid and how much is Travis Kelce, every time that guy mysteriously finds himself WIDE OPEN!

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
Pabstblueribbon replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yesssss. Inject it straight into my veins. Dhop has been snakebit his entire career, saddled with abysmal qbs (barring a short spell with Watson). Despite it, the guy just vacuums in any ball thats in his vicinity. I'm hoping buffalo lands him, or at the very least he goes somewhere else besides KC. -

If he goes to KC, can we all just agree to never speak of this 220+ page thread again? -

+1 though if we could somehow get him and Dhop both I would be thrilled. We'd have an instant boost in the short term plus the potential of having a Jaylen Waddle type waiting in the wings if he can develop the tools to function in a more conventional offense. -

"Spewing nonsense" is a bit harsh. I believe Buffalo was in on OBJ and was/is in on Dhop. Von is keeping fans engaged and Bills mentions on sports and social media juiced up during the off-season, in a positive way. I'm sure the Marketing and Advertising divisions at One Bills Drive aren't upset in the least about it lol. -

This time of the year is never complete without one of these threads, and i love it. Me following on page 1: "He's over 30 and we'd have to give up too much" Me by page 30: "Does anyone know where Pegula's jet is?!?!" -
Hunt seems to me like a more powerful, slightly slower version of James Cook. Character issues aside, I think he might be the best fit as far as "attainable" backs that remain.

One last one, for old times sake.

Josh has zero chill, and a howitzer for a right arm. I'm with you, Let the big dog eat. -

I laughed way too hard at "tapioca head". -
I think with 2 weeks of practice he will be up to speed and ready if the Dr's given him the okay. Getting Poyer with Hyde enables us to go back to seamlessly disguising and adjusting coverage against these cerebral qbs. If we get 80% Hyde I think this move could be almost as big for the Bills as getting Von back.
