  1. He’s generally had an ear to the ground on the Bills. It’s obviously warm. They outscored teams by 8.5 points a week but win half of their games 😂😂. That’s only on him.
  2. I don’t need to wait. I want to identify the person and hire them.
  3. This is weirdly ironic. The Bills have a +101 point differential. Only Baltimore’s is larger in the AFC. The Bills average 8.5 points more, per game, than their opponent yet are .500. That’s pretty much the definition of horrendous coaching. When they game gets close, they don’t close.
  4. Naw, the heat will be too much. Albright already mentioned that the seat is hot. He won’t be back. He sucks and mediocrity can’t be a thing with Josh Allen here.
  5. They’ve outscored their opponents by 101 points. Only Baltimore has a larger point differential in the AFC. It’s on Sean. He absolutely has to go.
  6. Slowik is a young play caller for the Texans. He comes from the Kyle Shannahan tree.
  7. McDermott is absolutely not the answer. He’s a loser that always loses. If McDermott is fired, it’ll be one of the most desirable jobs available. If you were Terry Pegula, who would you hire? I’m in record that I’d fire McDermott in the morning and hand Brady the keys. I’d give him a 6 week audition. If it doesn’t work, I’d probably hire Bobby Slowik. Ben Johnson would be my 2nd option.
  8. The Bills have outscored opponents by 101 points. Only 1 AFC team, Baltimore, has a greater point differential. McDermott is THE biggest problem and it isn’t even close to what’s next.
  9. He’s Dick Jauron with a talented roster. If you’re defending him at this point, I don’t know what to say. McDermott is HORRENDOUS. He’s a bottom 5 coach with an elite QB. He is a loser. He should be gone tomorrow but won’t be. He absolutely can’t be back in 2024. He can’t win.
  10. Go Bucks!
  11. Lol, I saw that. It’s perfect. You were able to be pleasantly surprised. The Bills drafted a talented pass catching TE and he’s actually good. If they would have realized that before like week 8, they’d be even better off.
  12. The Kincaid pick thread inspired me to look back at the prediction thread. How close was everyone? It looks like I’ll be a little light on the catches. The TDs still feel possible and he hopefully surpasses that yardage.
  13. I don’t really want to rank guys vs. guys at other positions. It’s just kind of weird to compare Dalton Kincaid to Taron Johnson for example. With that being said Kincaid was a really good pick. He was a blue-chip prospect that filled a need. The Bills got a guy that looks exactly like the guy that they drafted him to be. He is one of the best TEs in the league right now. Kincaid will play a huge role on this team moving forward. That was the goal when they selected him. He was a fantastic pick.
  14. Apparently it was 20-9. We played our best game of the year in a “must lose” scenario 😂😂.
  15. Lol, that was the same game for me!! Didn’t they beat Carolina on a last second FG?
  16. The Bills won by A LOT yesterday. That was one of the poorest officiated games that I’ve ever seen!!! My favorite was when it was 1st and 5 and the Bills lost 2 yards. AFTER the play, the officials got together and said that they forgot to move the chains on the prior play. It became 2nd and 12!! You either have to move the chains AND the football OR leave it alone. The truth is, you should do it right to begin with. The Bills didn’t end up converting a 1st down. That was WILD. You can add a handful of other brutal mistakes to the list. Just a horrendous game for the officials!!
  17. Help me understand the bolded. What does that mean? How would you know if “____” is an improvement? A few years ago Dan Campbell wouldn’t have seemed like an upgrade. He would have been. Do we know if Bobby Slowik or Ben Johnson would be improvements? Anyone COULD be an improvement OR a step back. That just doesn’t make sense to me. You ABSOLUTELY shouldn’t make a decision on McDermott (or any coach) based on what you perceive to be as “clear upgrades.” Any decision should be made based on whether or not you believe Sean McDermott is the guy to win Super Bowl(s) with this team. That’s the only criteria.
  18. I’m pretty much the exact opposite of this. I believe that lots and lots of people could lead this roster to wins. I said before the year, “Super Bowl or I want someone else.” I’m not going to ride the wave of “good week he should stay” vs. “bad week he should go.” As McDermott likes to say, “the standard is the standard.”
  19. I’ve been vocal for the last year that I thought he should be replaced. It wasn’t a popular opinion in March. It’s a lot more popular now. The Bills have multiple issues. Coaching MAY be at the top of the list. McDermott did a nice job of building the program. He has not proven to be a guy that can get you to the “promised land.” You cannot continue to “run it back.” Dorsey was the first step. The Bills should move on this off-season and hire an offensive HC. We need to elevate Josh Allen and get him back to the player that he was a couple of years ago.
  20. That’s just a rough number because that is about what there always is. You can add New England and Washington off the top of my head. The Saints are definitely replacing Allen. Carolina is a maybe (I think Reich is the betting favorite to be the next fired). That’s 7. Arizona? Indy? Giants? Titans? Tampa?
  21. This is a great topic @FireChans!! I have the number 2 stuck in my head. When I opened this thread 1.5 I was taking over, 2 I was taking push and 2.5 I was going under. I don’t think Dorsey is good. I also think that he’s a young offensive mind that has worked with a franchise QB. His offense has scored a lot despite the current flaws. There will be roughly 7 HC openings and 5 or 6 (at least) will go to offensive minded people. It isn’t crazy to me that 25% of the open jobs request a Dorsey interview.
  22. I’m not sure where to put this but, the Bills are just okay. I know that they’re beat up but this just isn’t good enough. The Bills are poorly coached. Don’t argue it, they are. They’re beat up. They lack creativity. This is one of my least favorite years that I can remember.
  23. I love this thread!! I remember back in the day on here when things went sideways people would just start posting random recipes. Those were the days!! In the spirit of “the good ole days” I’m going with this fantastic roast pork dip from Chef Brian Landry: INGREDIENTS 10 to 12 servings 1bone-in pork butt (approximately 5 to 7 pounds) 1head garlic, broken into individual cloves and peeled Kosher salt Black pepper 1tablespoon fresh thyme, finely chopped, plus 1 teaspoon leaves 2teaspoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped 3celery stalks, roughly chopped 1carrot, roughly chopped 1onion, roughly chopped 2fresh bay leaves 4cups chicken stock 1cup white wine ½cup crushed tomatoes 3tablespoons unsalted butter 3tablespoons all-purpose flour Crusty rolls or baguette Step 1 Heat oven to 400 degrees. Using a small knife, make several incisions about ½ inch long and 1 inch deep all over the pork. Cut garlic cloves in half lengthwise and insert garlic pieces into each incision. Generously season pork all over with salt, pepper, chopped thyme and rosemary. Step 2 Place celery, carrot, onion and bay leaves in a large roasting pan. Lay pork butt on top, fat side up. Step 3 Roast pork for 30 minutes, then lower oven temperature to 300 degrees. Add chicken stock, wine and tomatoes to roasting pan. Continue to cook pork until internal temperature registers 190 degrees with an instant-read thermometer and meat is fork-tender, another 3 to 4 hours. If pork begins to brown too quickly, cover loosely with aluminum foil. Step 4 Transfer pork to a platter and allow to rest for at least 20 minutes. Using a fine sieve, strain cooking liquid. Skim off as much fat as you can and reserve liquid. Step 5 Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook, stirring constantly until a light brown roux is formed, 7 to 8 minutes. Whisk in 4 cups of the drippings and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and reaches the consistency of sauce, about 10 minutes. Season with thyme leaves, salt and pepper. Step 6 When pork is cool enough to handle, shred with a fork, then add it along with the sauce back to a large pan and reheat. Serve on crusty rolls or baguette, garnished as desired.
  24. Yeah, Cornelius Bennett. Next question…
  25. Not the case here… The Bills have been super active and can’t convince themselves that they are “good enough.” They signed Fournette and rumors swirling on Jaylon Johnson. They’re going to make moves. We will see if it matters.
