All joking aside, I think that Mills is decent tackle depth. I always thought that he was a little better than he got credit for. I’m not saying that he was good but he was okay in the running game anyways. He’s an NFL player.

Philon is a guy that could bring a skill set to the room that missing. I’d prefer Oliver to play that role but there are no guarantees that he’s available. It would be a good signing though (especially at the right price).

I’m not saying that their roster is “good.” I am saying that it is THE best in the AFC. KC just lost Berry, ford and are about to lose Houston. They had the best roster IMO but not anymore.

Isn’t it obvious why people are expecting them to be good? They have the most talented roster in the AFC. Maybe they don’t get there this year but they are loaded.

They can. The Saints don’t ever have a cap issue. It is a matter of what they offer him. The Bills can overpay and offer a chance to start.

Yeah, the only thing that I can think of is that he takes a step back and realizes that they are well behind their neighbors. If he hits the reset and decides to chase Cleveland I could see it. This holds especially true with his FA on the way. If the Bills offered Zay, a 2 and a 4 they can help jumpstart that rebuild. I’m just thinking out loud on that.

If the Saints want Ansah they will find the money. They’ve been doing it for years. Loomis doesn’t even apologize for it. They will have no issues making the offer. Ansah is a backup there though. If that matters maybe he goes to the Bills.

Saints just lost Alex Okafor today to KC. He was someone I thought that the Bills should have considered. I hope that they get Ansah. He also kept reiterating that they have plenty of money should “a marquee player become available either in FA or via trade.” Maybe they are still working on a trade for a star? Julio? Green? Clowney?

That’s what I am thinking. The strength of this draft is on day 2. I would bet anything (assuming that they don’t trade for a vet before) that the Bills pick AT LEAST 4 times before the end of day 2. They want to take 4 guys before pick 100.

At this point I am cool with whatever. There are no glaring holes. My (realistic) favorite is probably Oliver. I know that other things can happen but he’s a player. He will provide a pass rush from the inside. If you add he and Ansah the Bills are in GREAT shape defensively. They could be a top 5 defense.
