I 100% believe it is more AB than Ben. Deandre Hopkins dominated before Deshaun. Gordon has 1,600 yards with Weeden, Campbell and Hoyer. Great receivers dominate regardless of who is throwing the ball. They get the ball in their hands and make plays. I know that the Pittsburgh QB situation wasn’t good but Ju-ju was MIA. He’s not a top 100 player today. He needs to earn his way back onto that list. There were other receivers in there too between Diggs and the end of the list (Kupp and Lockett). Also, Bowen votes Edmunds as the “player not on the list this year but is a lock next year.”

That league is wild. It’s a well-oiled machine. It’s four ten team divisions. There are four separate drafts run simultaneously. You play your division and cross over games against those in the same draft spot as you in the other divisions. It ends up being pretty big money but it’s on hold this year with COVID.

Has anyone here ever done one? If so, where is it hosted? When the teams get eliminated are their players added via waivers or blind bidding? I am putting one together and it’s proven to be miserable. My fantasy leagues seems to do it but the setup is terrible. We use that site for my 40 team league but it isn’t very user friendly. I’d much rather yahoo or even ESPN where it’s easy. It just doesn’t look like that’s an option there. Any advice is greatly appreciated

Andre Smith traded to Bills for conditional 7th
Kirby Jackson replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s a conditional 7th in 2023. I don’t know much about him but he’s a Carolina guy so I’m sure they do. Feels like a guy that has a shot at the back of the roster. -
Zach Cunningham signs extension with Houston
Kirby Jackson replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My guess is that he will be pushing the top of the market. If his contract was up now he’d be looking in that range. Assuming he keeps progressing he will probably end up as the highest paid MLB (at least for a period of time I’m just not sure why we expect him to sign for so much less than market value? That $14M range is pretty standard for someone like Milano. He’s not going to leave $10M-$20M on the table over 4 years. Maybe it means he won’t be back but I’ll be really surprised if he leaves that much on the table. -

So say, it’s a 4 year deal. You think that he just says, “no thanks to $16M?” I absolutely don’t think that. -

It’s all about the comps. There are worse LBs that play a similar style signing for $14M+. It’s not reasonable to think that he will take less money than guys he’s better than. It just doesn’t work like that. He probably isn’t going to be here if that’s the case. -
Singletary Moss touches
Kirby Jackson replied to thunderingsquid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’ve said 70/30 Singletary and I’m holding to that. It sounds like moss has had a strong camp but I’m of the belief that Motor is special. He’s dangerous in the hole. I might be wrong but I’m rolling with that.- 44 replies

I actually think tagging him is realistic -
Zach Cunningham signs extension with Houston
Kirby Jackson replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, I’m not sure I’d pay him $14m but someone is in this market. He stacks up favorably to guys getting that. If I’m his agent that’s my floor. I could see him taking a little less for the Bills but not much. -

Milano is, and was, always looking at $14M ish? Does it get done? Who knows. He isn’t signing for $8m or $10M as some people hoped. -
Gruden tears into Nate Peterman [language]
Kirby Jackson replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh, Hobert may be the least likable Bill ever (except OJ). The fact that he collected a check without doing the work is disgusting. He still performed better than Peterman. He’s certainly less likable but not a worse player. Peterman is the worst player to ever put on a Bills uniform. -

Sadly, he’s not. If you put Hobert against Peterman it’s actually not very close. That’s pathetic considering Hobert didn’t even know the plays!! https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PeteNa00.htm https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HobeBi00.htm -

He plays the most important position in football AND is the worst player that the Bills have ever had. It’s not a surprise that he is discussed on a message board where we talk about the Bills. There’s a thread open on Fitz. There’s a thread open on Fitz & Tyrod. QBs will always be discussed here. -
This is pretty much it. They were both NFL QBs (which we haven’t had a ton of).

There are levels of “bad” too. He played, statistically the worst half of football that a guy has ever played. It’s not like he struggled some. Every guy that has ever played QB in the NFL was better. He was/is an abomination as a football player. Playing him once was a mistake. Playing him more than once is where the decision makers have to take the blame. There are a lot of nice guys that try hard. That doesn’t mean that they should be starting games in the NFL. -
Or 30 for 30, “What if I told you a Harvard grad started NFL games wearing a wedding ring?”

It also only works if you thought it was reasonable BEFORE the Chargers game. Some of us believed, that it was absolutely insane to go to Peterman before that game. The Bills were in a playoff battle and turned the keys over to a guy with little to no ability. It wasn’t like they were taking a look at the franchise future. It was crazy before, during and after. Maybe not because of where he was drafted. At the same time, he’s the worst player to ever put on a Bills uniform. -

The fact that he is collecting a check to play football is insane. -
Ngakoue Watch is officially on!
Kirby Jackson replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is 100% right and something we haven’t had to experience. When your window is open you push your chips in and kick the can down the road. The Saints have done it for a decade. -
Will Beane make a trade before cuts?
Kirby Jackson replied to ColoradoBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You do it to avoid guys getting to the wire. As an example if you are going to cut Duke and the Eagles are going to cut Sidney Jones why not try to swap?
