Edited title: Winds of Change for AFC East

I think the Bills will crush the Jets for a long time. -
Rating the Rookie QBs - What the Numbers Show
Prickly Pete replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I use the eyeball test, and watch as the guys progress (or not). I am very happy with Josh Allen and his progress, and couldn't care less what the stats are. I haven't felt this way about ANY of the prior guys, since Kelly. -
Tough offseason needs...2 WR, TE, RB1, OT
Prickly Pete replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I expect them to finagle 4 picks in the first 3 rounds. I believe they will make 2 upgrades to the o-line. Probably a high pick and a FA. That would make a big difference, as each guy makes the others around him better. They are not going to bring in 3 new, better starters on the o-line. They have too many needs elsewhere. I think they will get a #1 receiver somehow. Probably with a second pick, maybe by trading up into the late 1st round. Definitely not with a Top 10 pick...there just isn't a WR worthy. Draft a RB in the first 3 rounds. -

I hate to say it, but the top rated guys are almost all D-linemen. None of the Receivers are worthy of a top 10 pick. I doubt they will spend a Top 10 pick on an O-linemen. Kyle Williams is probably gone, or should retire regardless... If they keep the pick, probably the only way to get value is to select a D-linemen. It's a need, too. -
Jalen Ramsey: Gronk is overrated

Why do even Bills fans refer to Gronkowski by his silly frat boy nickname? -

This is next level -
I wanted them to go after Cooper, but he wasn't playing very well, and trading away what is becoming a pretty high 1st pick could have blown up in their face. I'm not going to wring my hands over what they will do in the draft right now. I expect them to upgrade with a couple new starters on the O-line (say, a FA and a high pick), add another receiver (either a big name FA/trade, or a 1st pick), draft a RB in the 2nd or 3rd round, and try to get a decent TE somehow (most likely. an older FA). That would be my mindset going into the off-season, and I assume they have a similar outlook. Upgrading 5 positions on this offense would be a pretty big boost.

The sudden, mysterious, on-site death of a 22 year old Google software tech with no known health problems, is worthy of a mention considering the tenor of the times, and the role Google has taken on in the "resistance". I'm not making any outrageous claims or speculations, but just leaving it as a little note of an oddity. It may develop (most likely not), but your response was really quite dickish, considering that it falls in line with the general topics discussed in this thread. -

Last time I heard from you, you were popping in out of nowhere, to let me know that I'm not worth responding to (ironically). -

"State secrets"? What makes it worthy of discussion? I don't know, maybe the conflicts involving all these people? Or the odd reactions from each person that looks at the note in the middle of a President's funeral? It seems odd that Obama didn't get one (AFAIK)...maybe the notes originated from him? It's a pretty interesting sequence of events. -

I think the offensive players are all executing the offense better, and it even made Barkley look good. Can't wait until next season. Add a few more pieces, and some continuity with the scheme...good times ahead! -
