  1. I can respect Kelly for being outspoken about the Bills staying in Buffalo. Two concerns... #1 Does he really have the partners lined up to buy the Bills? His ownership stake would clearly be a very small one unless he has had wild success building his wealth in his post football years. #2 After watching what Larry Quinn has done with the Sabres organization, if Kelly does have a group that could buy the Bills, I'd be concerned that he ends up with a very nice position within the new regime. The part that scares me is Kelly has NO experience in running a football organization or building a team, but comes across as someone who would immediately make himself part of the football decision making group.
  2. I used this company earlier this year. http://www.vitalchek.com/
  3. Just because he is a straight shooter and is somewhere above average in terms of scouting players, doesn't mean he knows diddly about building a football team.
  4. What is crystal clear about this plan... - Allow your HC to hire his staff with little concern for lack of experience/success outside of DeHaven. - Move to a 3-4 defense and then ignore the fact that you don't have the players required for this switch. - Run up to the podium on draft day ASAP without even listening to offers for your first couple of picks. - Draft a player in the first round at a position that is far and away your biggest strength. - Lose a promising UDFA from your practice squad in J. Bell because you couldn't decide what to do with the 3 headed RB monster and then a couple of weeks later, you move Lynch. - Kelsay. Nothing to say. No possible explanation. You know what is crystal clear? Until the names Wilson, Overdorf, Brandon, Littman & Nix are no longer associated with this franchise, this team will not come close to sniffing the playoffs.
  5. After an 8 year run of win totals between 5-8, it looks like this years team is going to bottom out finally, and rival the 2001 Gregg Williams 3-13 team and the back to back 2-14 Kay Stephenson and Hank Bullough 1984/1985 teams(I won't go any further back as some of the late 60's/early 70's teams were on par or even worse). So how bad is it going to get? 3 wins? More? Less? I believe the defense is so bad that even on the few Sundays this year when the offense can score some points, the defense will allow more. I think we are looking at a 2-14 season.
  6. RMPL... http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/120979-bills-4th-rounders-the-past-25-years/
  7. This link indicates that Kelsay is in pretty elite company as a 6 mil a year LB. Holy overpayment batman!!!!! http://content.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/salaries/playersbyposition.aspx?pos=150&order=Salary+desc I don't EVER remember feeling this bad about even the worst Bills teams of the late '60's and mid '80's. What a freakin' joke.
  8. The thought of Kelsay blowing Ralph is a very disturbing image, but there is just no other way to explain this.
  9. Any faith I have in the new FO & HC will go out the window if Kelsay is signed to the rumored 24 mil extension. The lack of playmakers in the defensive front 7 is mind boggling.
  10. I'd love to know who gave the OK for this extension...Wilson or Nix? 24 hours later and I still cannot come even close to begin figuring out the thought process in regards to this extension.
  11. Just when you think the Bills can't go any lower.
  12. They should go one step further and just cut Edwards. He is of no use to the team in any capacity that involves playing QB...wether it be 1st, 2nd or 3rd string.
  13. So you wouldn't do Cher, but you would consider doing a couple of these skanks?
  14. I highly doubt this is the case.
  15. Just my 2 cents...I can't for the Bills to start winning again, so that things like where someone has to hold their tailgate party and what sign can be hung on the stadium wall become irrelevant again. Who cares if you get your bowling ball shot in a stadium lot or a private lot. BFD.
  16. I have to believe that if word of this ever made it to the Mara family, that this would be removed. Instead you probably had some smartass putting the display together who was trying to be funny.
  17. I would be very surprised if this(displaying Norwood's jersey) is the case.
  18. ...plus 80 yards to go and no timeouts!
  19. I've read the posts defending the choice of taking the safety, but I still think the odds of forcing OT or winning the game in regulation were better if they went for the 4th and 10.
  20. So going for it on 4th and 10 from your own 1 yard line with 1:30 to go, two timeouts and down by 3, was a lesser option than getting the ball on the 20 with 30 seconds to go, no timeouts and down by 7?
  21. I agree. For all those praising the defense, wait two weeks and see how they fare against two high powered passing attacks...Green Bay and New England.
  22. I agree. With the amount of time left on the clock and the number of timeouts the Bills had remaining, the correct decision was to go for it on 4th down despite being on the 1 yard line and the wind in your face. Very Jauron-esqe to me.
  23. Oh goody...another ESPN channel, but still no NFL Network as the years go by.
  24. Well said.
