  1. The seats have been close to full for the last decade with the Bills sucking hind tit. Making some changes to remove underachievers and malcontents can only be seen as a positive from most Bills fans. If the Bills can find a sucker to take on Kelsay's salary AND give us a pick in return(I'll take a 4, 5 or even a 6), it will be a great move.
  2. What fun? I can't wait to hear about your "fun" plans for this weekend.
  3. Mind boggling! I can only hope that the report is incorrect. If not, this franchise may not make the playoffs for anther 10 years or so.
  4. So we took a 4 instead of a 3 so we could possibly trade the pick for one of the guys mentioned? Why not take the 3 and then trade them our own 4.
  5. NO. I don't want to see any trade ups at any point in the draft. We traded up for Losman and McCargo which we busted on twice and also traded up for Poz who gets an incomplete/mediocre grade at this point.
  6. If this is true, I'd love to know the reasoning behind wanting a 1 and a 4 this year and a 6 or 7 next year instead of a 1 and 3 this year. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
  7. You could have had the same problem without an extra 1st and 4th if Peters decided to holdout until week 10(which could have been a very likely scenario).
  8. I would have been happier with just the 21st pick instead of the 28th and the other two, but if the Bills were convinced it was time to move on(they weren't going to deal with his bs anymore) and this was the best deal they could get, then so be it.
  9. You're right. Playing outside has been such an advantage for the Bills over the last decade.
  10. No comparison except in the blocking category. Coffman is several inches taller and had an outstanding career at Missouri in the receiving department. In addition to this, he reportedly has hands like flypaper.
  11. He could be a LOT worse than Henson. Henson at least played college football at the D1 level. Paulus hasn't played organized football beyond HS and that was 4 years ago. PS I agree with the earlier poster who said that Paulus handled the benching in a classy manner this past season.
  12. 1. Cushing. As much as they need a DE, Cushing over Ellison would help a LOT more ASAP in all areas of the defense including the pass rush versus one of the DE prospects replacing Kelsay. 2. Coffman. I know I said address the lines in earlier posts, but this guy is capable of doing two things very well that have been lacking in recent years...a guy with great hands who can keep the chains moving and a temendous red zone target. Can he become an adequate blocker? Only time will tell. Can he get open on the seam route? Probably not his game, but that is what you have WR's for. 3.Best OG/OC/DE remaining. Levitre, Wood, Urbik, Johnson, Caldwell, Meredith, Sidbury or Kruger PS Rounds 4 through 7...Use at least two more picks on the lines, another linebacker and a safety.
  13. Gokey and Chris are just...blah. I like Matt more than either of them. Lil should have been booted a couple of weeks ago, Allison IMO despite the praises of the judges has not been as good the last couple of weeks. Anoop sucks. Adam(and a slight possibility of Allison) is the only hope out of the remaining 7 to become a recording superstar.

  15. What was up with the judges only getting to speak about every other singer. My 2 primary reasons to watch the show are to hear Paula struggle to form a sentence and then Simon hitting homeruns with his reviews. Are you telling me the director can't figure out how to bring the show in on time?
  16. Considering the Bills have sucked for the better part of a decade, wouldn't you think it would be easier to find more starters from the draft? This plays a big role in their grade. It doesn't really mean these starters are quality players.
  17. Not that this is a bad thing, but Coffman's strong suit would appear to be a guy who could move the chains and be a great red zone target. From what I have read, he is not a guy who can stretch the field and like most TE's in this draft who are good receivers, there are major questions about their ability to become good inline blockers.
  18. Sometime in the last month or so, they had on a GM who said that his team has had too much trouble with players they drafted who had questionable character and starting this draft, they are raising the bar so to speak. For the life of me, I can't remember who it was. Any help??
  19. There is a whole stack of them at the Barnes and Noble on NF Blvd. They are in the magazine section.
  20. I like Adam and he is head and shoulders above the competition, but I don't think the lighting, etc... is his idea. I think it is Idol's way of promoting certain contestants above and beyond their singing ability.
  21. I'd have no problem with Cushing or Matthews at #11 if the DE the Bills want is no longer there.. Ellison is a career backup. We need an impact player at the OLB position.
