  1. I heard it. But you are missing my point. I'm not arguing his coaching style, but his sideline behavior. He could very well be the next great HC or he could be run out of town in two years. As far as 64's comments: they beat the Jets at home opening weekend. I'm sure the energy and adrenaline was excellent. Was the energy the same vs the Panthers? Will it be the same this week vs the Broncos?
  2. If i had to choose one rule to change, it wouldn't be holding. PI is way more influential and inconsistent. Holding calls that are iffy or missed are certainly a problem but not nearly as much as the way pass defenders are overly persecuted for PI
  3. Ya it's great. But your edit says it all. That entire video was of positive plays where clapping makes sense. My point, and some other posters, find it annoying when he claps after the negative plays. Like initially stated, I don't know what he is saying and he does seem extremely sincere. It is simply frustrating to watch the coach do the same thing he does when the fail vs when the succeed
  4. Yep I would agree. As painful as it may be, they will trust their "process" and work over the next few years to get their guys. It is a grace period afforded to the new staff.
  5. From what I've seen from Dennison, investing a high priority pick on a WR next year would not be the best bang for their buck.
  6. My best case scenario is that the Bills can get their guy (QB) without having to move up at all. The best thing that could happen to this club is to have all those 6 picks turn into players. We are so short on depth and have holes all over. I'd like to see them stay where they are are take BPA
  7. Please, please don't let that team be the Bills.
  8. I have DT and LB ahead of RG but awesome write up!
  9. You made my day. I want to buy you a beer
  10. Again, I never said I didn't like him. It is specific situations that's really bother me. It is extremely frustrating to watch him continuously applaud a 3 and out. You are correct. We see snap shots of who the guy is. But it is the same with Rex. People around here were all excited about his boisterous attitude and then we sucked and it starts to piss everyone off. We'll see what happens and opinions on McD when we are 6-10 at the end of the season Great addition
  11. Yep and if they are limiting their playbook because of TT or any other player, they are doing it wrong. Open the book, an NFL level playbook, and see who can compete. Playing conservatively in a passing league dominated by big play potential does nothing for us competitively nor does it allow for a proper evaluation of talent
  12. This shouldn't be a surprise. What did they expect?
  13. 17 years will weigh on a man. Doesn't change my belief that one day we will return to glory! Just hopefully with less unwarranted clapping... But, is their offense?
  14. If we only had a successful screen game, we could take advantage of their excellent pass rush
  15. No argument here. Good post
  16. I look forward to these every week. Nice job, Bo. I was hoping you'd include the wide shot of the final Jones drop/ TT miss. I disagree that it was thrown to the wrong shoulder. Other than that, it's clear that stunts have gotten the better of Wood over the past two weeks. Hopefully mills will rebound but hoping for a good week vs Von Miller is insane
  17. Woah, man some people take this way too seriously. My point was it is annoying as a fan to watch the leader of the team applauding as our offensive, yet again, trots off the field after a 3 and out. As many suggest, it is his idea of leadership. But I'd rather see a balance of positivity with also some fire. If McDermott isn't going to be the fire under the offenses rear end, who is the rah rah leader? You need that when things are stagnant IMO Btw to those who found the clapping gifs...epic!
  18. I can see where you are coming from with that angle. But still, watch the EZ cam
  19. Do you know anyone that sincerely claps after a failure and is still generally successful? I can't buy it as a genuine move. It's a pick me up tactic that I think the players would get annoyed with. Just my two cents
  20. I don't have FB. But I did see the back of that dudes hat you posted earlier lol
  21. It still pisses me off that Pete Carrol smacks his gum and yells at refs at phantom penalties that he thinks should be made. It's an aspect of the game I noticed. Does it have an impact on the out come of the game? Probably not. Does it say something about his personality and demeanor? Absolutely. Since we are so focused on building a culture, I think sideline actions and behavior to be equally important. If you want to beat a dead horse about TT or lack of positional strength, look at another thread.
  22. So you are saying that you DO agree it is excessive?
  23. True. It is my opinion. Maybe it's my experience in my profession where awarding effort and not results leads to an overinflated sense of success that leads to complacency? Who knows. I am cherry picking here, I realize that. But sideline demeanor is something that jumps out at me on screen and I can't ignore it
  24. This is where I am. Watching him clap for his guys running off after a terrible three and out is concerning. Maybe I am different, as some have mentioned, but a constructive response doesn't necessarily need ALWAYS be met with a hip hip hooray.
