  1. Gotta love twitter. HandsomeB.Wonderful‏ @bobbyk88 2m2 minutes ago My neighbors, uncle, has a friend of a friend who works at the airport... Said he seen #Maclin in Buffalo airport. #MaclinWatch
  2. The options, as I understand it, are "First Round Tender", "Second Round Tender", or "Original Round Tender". Gillislee was a 5th round pick, hence why it was a 5th round tender.
  3. He's still being paid the same amount, why wouldn't he? Especially if it will help the team and improve our offensive performance. He has been in the league for years now, every other team knows he can play LT at a high level, so if/when he comes up for contract and hits Free Agency, I don't think he has anything to worry about with other suitors considering him a RT only. Last point - RTs steadily have been making more and more money every year and are slowly closing the gap between LT and RT pay. In a pass happy league, you need elite players on both ends of the line, not just the blind side.
  4. Do we suddenly have an elite O-Line? The Dolphins completely trashed New England last week, and EJ has had all day.
  5. And you're not as clever as you think you are.
  6. Any chance we see Marcel cut or traded this offseason? I think it'd be a mistake and its probably a pongshot, but I remember reading a post from someone indicating that possible 'big, unexpected changes' would be made to the roster this offseason, and that they would be due to players not fitting in with Marrone's culture. I would be furious if it were to happen. You can't cut a young, probowl talent (and rd 1 draft pick). I'm getting frustrated just thinking of the possibility. Any thoughts?
  7. Robey has his limitations, but when used correctly, has elite potential.
  8. I'm hoping its just knocked the air out of his lungs
  9. I was ready to hop on the "cut EJ" bandwagon after the first quarter, but wow has he looked (mostly) good the rest of the game. He has some serious skills when he is in a groove.
  10. I think Oliver would be a great fit with the Bills. Good compliment for Spiller and can learn from/eventually replace skilled but aging Fred.
  11. Possible good NT for improving run defense.
  12. Different stat, different results. Not hard to undertstand that.
  13. Normalized, this system has the offense 14th and defense 23rd. Overall 18th. Defense still not elite, at least in terms of points given up per game.
  14. I think it is just points for/points against, but I'm not sure.
  15. I saw a statistical tool yesterday that ranked the Bills offense 9th and their defense 27th (overall rank of 19th). It basically compared points scored/points allowed as compared to each opponents' averages. Bills scored 1.15 on offense, meaning they scored 1.15 times as many points as their opponents give up on average, and scored 1.23 on defense, meaning they allowed 1.23 times as many points as their opponents score on average. Very different from the narrative we were told so far, but it makes sense if you look at our opponents: much better typically on defense than on offense. And yet we managed to put up 20+ on all of them.
  16. Conditional 7th. He is 3rd string there. Low risk low reward and I am in.
  17. Last year, absolutely true. This year its more 50/50. He has made some good plays (though he has also been burned quite a bit). I see him as a great role player in sub-packages, rather than someone who should be starting.
  18. Flynn is the 'Good Luck Chuck' of the NFL. Be never wins the starting job, but the team he is trying to stick with always finds their Franchise QB after Flynn is demoted. So far he has backed up Rodgers, Wilson, and Pryor. I'm happy if EJ or Lewis turn out like that.
  19. Crossman set records for horrid ST play last year with Detroit. No idea how he still has a job in football. His schemes are atrocious.
  20. If anyone would pay for him, it'd be the lions. They're doing well enough to stay in playoff contention despite a tight division, but risk becoming one-dimensional if Bush or Megatron are banged up. They could really use a safety valve that just "gets open" to help move the chains (especially with Burleson injured). I could see them trying to make a big move before the deadline if no one steps up for them as a 3rd threat on offense
  21. Looks like he is starting to grasp the pro game. Not taking anything over or burning guys for huge plays, but he made a few nice and difficult grabs the last couple weeks. His hands and route running are finally improving, and hopefully continue to do so. Ideally, he can continue to progress and turn into a great third option (or 4th behind Goodwin) at WR.
  22. I love this man. Suddenly a servicable corner. Hopefully he finally made the leap and can keep improving.
  23. That explains the defense woes. No big complaints there. The offense is what is giving me fits (or should that be Fitz?)
  24. Whyyyyy? Every time... We didn't complete one that I saw. It's a low % pass to begin with, how come we keep going back to it? Un. Believable.
  25. One thing I noticed was how BIG EJ looks back there. He shook off a number of tacklers and extended the play after getting hit. This combination of elusiveness and size is very Rothlesberger-like, which I love.
