I genuinely don't understand how TJ Heath (or really any of the DBs out there now) are in the NFL. They are torched or out of position EVERY PLAY! There are bound to be a half dozen cuts better than anyone we have outside of Gilmore (and maybe McKelvin).
I'm not too worried about any other positions looking bad now, but these DBs are guys that are possibly on the field every week. You can't win like this. Period.
Pretty decent overall. Don't forget he was playing 2/3rd strings on the 2 min drive.
Either way, nice to see him shake off some early issues, go through progressions, make good decisions, and gain some confidence.
At the risk of sounding like a homer, OLB Khalil Mack at UB is monstrous and is within reach of a couple ncaa records (FF and TFL). Could be great value if he slides due to bring from a MAC school, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him go in rd 2-3.
Could be a sign of genius or a sign of desperation. Until we get some word on performance who knows?
Maybe he should have been a guard all along and that's why he never stuck anywhere... Or it is because our LG spot is that bad any anyone is a step up. Sorry this isn't really an answer but I need some empirical evidence of him in this role before I come to a conclusion. I'd like to think that he will be well suited for the role.
Anyone have measurables/combine results?
