Knox only thinks the extremely difficult balls are worth catching. -

Refs usually don’t mess up these spots that bad. Tough challenge. -

I think it is more of a reflection of our depth. We could plug all three of these guys in next week if injuries hit and probably not miss a beat. -

agree. Consider probably his best two games last year were in ideal Weather conditions in Arizona (against the cards and Niners). hows the wind, wiz? Miyagi-son is worried…. -

So long as they neutralize the wind, then I am fine with it being open. We are at a critical moment in time when we have a super bowl caliber team and QB in a passing offense, when we are building a new stadium. We should be designing this stadium to reinforce the strengths of the team. -

ugh. They need to build a dome. We are undermining any home field with this ridiculous wind. -
Levi fined 9.5k for “taunting”
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i think Levi’s was a clear taunt. But Lamar’s was too and probably worse. That sort of show boating is intended to be a slap in the face to the opponent. You don’t have to stare down a guy for there to be a taunt. The worst is Tyreek Hill. Some defender needs to just drive him into the wall the next time he does one of his show boating back flips, etc into the endzone. -
what do you mean by this? Is there video footage of him trying to bury her?

Eli made an interesting observation about halftime the other night. He said that it takes an eternity to walk across the field and into the locker rooms, and for the coaches in the booth to come down too. So, basically, at halftime, you go to the bathroom, eat some oranges, and talk to the coaches for less than 2 minutes, and then they tell you to get back out on the field.

What NFL player do you associate with a college?
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in Off the Wall
your choice of Marvcus Patton was very interesting, and it led me down a Patton internet rabbit hole. What an interesting guy! I always knew him as just a solid Bills LB, but had no idea about his backstory. Mom taught him football; walked on at UCLA; only missed 3 games in his entire NFL career; interesting post-NFL career. Pretty cool story. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvcus_Patton -
I have a feeling our defense will face a lot of screens. Those worked by the Steelers, and it will slow down our pass rush. Gotta stay disciplined.

Taron Johnson extension. When and how much?
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to No_Matter_What's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s scary when you line up those cap numbers like that. But if they let Edmunds walk, do you think they have the money for Taron? The coaching staff probably has a different view, but I feel like Taron is more valuable than Edmunds given how much nickel they play. -

Miyagi-Do Karate replied to No_Matter_What's topic in The Stadium Wall
I actually think they do re-sign him for a big chunk of change. With what the Ravens have done with Marlon Hunphrey, the slot CB is becoming a really important position in the NFL. -
I like it, but I set you up too well!

he needs to Be getting a lot of the targets going to E Sanders.

Laundrie left home without his cell phone and wallet. Sounds like his parents at least reported that they were worried he would harm himself. i guess today I am thinking he went out to the reserve to basically die. I am sure I will have a different theory tomorrow. https://www.cnn.com/2021/09/23/us/gabby-petito-brian-laundrie-update-thursday/index.html

there was something about that Miami game that felt like a turning point to me. McKenzie looked so confident back there on judging the ball, making fair catch Versus return decisions, being sure handed, etc— plus it Was all in bad weather conditions. It just felt like he took a major step forward.

Beth Mowins to call Bills-Texans
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I always find the announcers that played sports to overall be more knowledgeable in calling the games. They have a better feel of knowing what the emphasize and what to prod the color commentator on. Just my two cents. -
Beth Mowins to call Bills-Texans
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah, I don’t get it. She is solid, and probably about 10x more knowledgeable than any other play by play announcer. She was a high school and college athlete. I always used to like when she called college hoops games. -
but what about OJ?!

Isn’t that grounding? Extraordinarily Dumb move to go for it. -

Agreed. That was really textbook coverage. His back arm was touching the receiver’s back, but didn’t move the receiver. You have to reward that, not penalize it. -
