  1. The bears ST are a total mess. That was probably their best punt return too— at least no flags.
  2. Horrible challenge.
  3. that o-line is so confused just trying to not to false start, i am not expecting much more out of them.
  4. This Houston defense is very unlikeable. Just a lot of bush league stuff. Even the tackle by that LB to get Williams out of bounds was lame.
  5. Seems like a ton of bears fans in Houston?
  6. Edmunds got that sack but actually never even touched him still!
  7. I used to love that Eberflus in Indy. Had unreal defenses there. Looks like he is getting that Bears D in similar shape.
  8. I sort of get now why Houston kicked a FG on 4th down. They don’t view Chicago as being able to score at all tonight. Just score some points and get a lead.
  9. haha. Yes: I forgot about that Roby phantom call. I mostly remember that game because it was the NFL’s first foray into streaming. Game was only on yahoo. I had massive issues with buffering the whole game. I should go back and watch that game now for comedic relief.
  10. I have grown to hate the Jags, but not because of any of the players and coaches. Some of my worst memories just involve Jags games: 1) 1996 playoff loss (blackout, listened only on radio) 2) the yahoo buffering EJ Manuel London game 3) and last year’s game on concrete, when we lost half our team to injury. (the only good memory was being at the Flutie naked bootleg win in 1998!)
  11. So, given what Arizona did today, is our week 1 win looking much better?
  12. I don’t do a lot of audio books, but just did “The Dutch House” by Anne Padgett. Really nice book, and very well read (by Tom Hanks).
  13. agreed. I prefer to take the points there too. Get a little lead and some Momentum on the road.
  14. I have CMC. Thankfully I drafted Mason too. Last time I had CMC, he was injured most of the time too. I doubt he is effective at all this year.
  15. i have always felt like kicking is the same as golf. I do know that when I am trying to correct a bad block or slice right, if I over-correct, it is a pull hook— similar to that Bass miss.
  16. we need to play that same conservative style of offense against the Jets this year to beat them. We just hand them games every year.
  17. seriously asking, but did he even play last night? Same with Chubb? I didn’t even see them on screen. The only defender I noticed for more than a second was Siler, who made a few run stops.
  18. Agreed. There are so many philosophies too on strength training, and I suspect it’s a whole other level at the NFL level. But you sort of wonder if there needs to be more of a focus on rest, muscle endurance, and flexibility, and maybe less on hypertrophy— but that’s me speculating.
  19. The biceps and two major pec injuries seems like that could be an issue with S&C?
  20. you know AJ is probably turning his RV around and heading for Buffalo as we speak?! That guy is like Rasputin!
  21. it’s terrible. I hate these TNF broadcasts on Prime. Hard to pause and rewind too, or switch to watch something else during breaks.
  22. agreed re Tony G. Also, real easy too for Tony G to say that after playing for like 20 years in the NFL.
