Game of Thrones - And Now Our Watch Has Ended!

Maester Aemon (of the Night's Watch) rejected the throne when he became the unlikely next in line. https://www.vulture.com/2015/05/aemon-targaryen-the-man-who-would-not-be-king.html So there is precendent for an heir to just say "I don't wanna" -
From what I hear, the drug in the study he was in really did a number on his lungs which made it difficult for him to breathe. So he's out of that study, and they can't do any more treatment until his lungs heal up. So he's in hospice until that happens and they can move on to the next thing. This should not in any way, shape, or form be thought of as the beginning of the end.

Saw them here in Rochester last fall - amazing. Not a lot to look at on stage, but incredible to just listen to.

Game of Thrones - And Now Our Watch Has Ended!

So is Euron that smart, or did they have intel about where Dany and her ships would be and when? Here's my theory - the leak in Dany's "organization" is Sansa and/or Arya. They figure they can get rid of Cersei on their own and don't want Dany as a ruler of all 7 kingdoms. This decision was made when Sansa asked Dany point-blank "what about the North?" after she takes the throne and Dany pulled away without answering. They want a Stark as ruler of the 7 kingdoms, or they don't even want a 7 kingdoms any longer (if they ever did). -

This one is interesting: https://www.huffpost.com/entry/game-of-thrones-season-8-who-lived_n_5cc62b45e4b0fd8e35bdf92a I did find it really odd that they cut away from that Tyrion/Bran Three-Eyed Raven discussion as it was about to start. -
First concert ever (I was 13) - early 1976, Jethro Tull, War Child tour, Niagara Falls Convention Center.

The Bills have been looking for ways to improve gameday experience for years, and have done a fairly good job of late. The whole table-slamming thing has been an issue with the team since my time on the Fan Advisory Board. Any parking provider, be it the team or a private lot, is able to set rules for using their facilities. Some do a better job than others at setting and enforcing rules. Hammer happens to be the best at it, with no table slamming, no "dizzy bats", no funnels allowed. He's expelled people. And people are free use whatever transportation and parking their situation allows. The Bills have put elevated platforms in the bus lots for enforcement to get a better view of what's going on - doesn't stop motivated people from doing prohibited things. As the article stated, this didn't just come from the team but also from the bus/limo companies as well as their law enforcement, parking, and security partners. The current situation can be dangerous for fans as well as people and property. It also states that 6 other teams have similar set-ups so it's not just Buffalo. As someone who was never a 'tailgate to the point of rediculousness' guy, I'm pretty OK with this plan. We'll see if it helps, and what other unintended consequences it has (you know there will be many).

We've never said nobody does a better plate than Nick's. But that's our spot and we stick with it.
-
Yeah getting a worthwhile plate in Buffalo is even tougher than getting a good beef on weck in Rochester.

I watched a 70s one called The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin which was spectacular due to Leonard Rossiter.

I'm a fan of gumbo. And chicken wing soup. I like flavor. French Onion is a good soup. And crab/lobster bisque.

I remember the first one, but I was 6 with "unhip" parents. The one thing that hasn't come out yet is the pricing. But that weekend is the weekend we deliver my daughter to college so it's a no-go for me.

moved to Buffalo when I was 4 (in 1966).

Are you embarrassed to wear Bills gear?
JÂy RÛßeÒ replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Never. When I go away on vacation, it's basically all I wear. And every day it sparks some kind of conversation - somebody with a tie to the team, either as a fan or an opponent or someone who has lived in the area. -
NOPE! Not gonna do it.

He's the calendar boy this month - good things.
