  1. Mine now smells like camp fire after being downwind for hours at the Pinto Tailgate, but it's a good memory.
  2. The hat was camo-style in honor of Veteran's Day. I kept joking that anyone wearing it would be invisible inside the stadium.
  3. That drive in the 4th quarter killed us. Almost 9 minutes long but only 46 net yards. No passes. Overall 12 penalties for 108 yards. 3 turnovers.
  4. I'm not surprised the D started slowly, with the number of new pieces and other pieces moved along with a new coordinator/scheme. Add in the injuries, family tragedies, and rookies learning on the job and you get an incohesive mess. I fully expect continued improvement for this unit as the season progresses. This is one more reason to be optimistic that we can make a run.
  5. Having Roethlisberger out (and maybe Leftwich too after last night) really helps.
  6. Well look at that, yes I did. And hopfully so does Chan.
  7. I can just as easily see them losing 3-4 of 'em.
  8. I'm just hoping we can win a game - another game...
  9. PS - It is also well known that Hammer is very discrete and he does not broadcast to the world when those associated with the team frequent his facilities.
  10. Same as usual - avoid turnovers & penalties, convert 3rd downs, score TDs from the red zone. Luck might be a little skittish after yesterday's beat-down so some pressure from the front 4 would be good.
  11. Always entertaining... http://nfl.si.com/2012/11/18/bart-scott-attempts-to-lead-teammates-in-media-boycott-after-jets-win/
  12. Indeed. Guys.... Hammer has the closest private lot to the stadium and is willing to park RVs there. Lee's family adopted Hammer's lot as their lot of choice. Lee would head over there to party with his family at their RV after games. Anybody who spent time at Hammer's during Lee's time in Buffalo knows this. As to why he/they were in Buffalo for this game I do not know. But believe me that if they WERE in Buffalo for a game (and I have know reason to doubt they were), that's where you'd find them.
  13. Update: All charges have been dropped. Apparently there's now a law on the books that says that if a call for help is made for someone in drug-related distress, no charges will be brought against the caller or victim for drug amounts under certain limits. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/drug-charge-dropped-against-bon-jovis-daughter-220945819.html
  14. Spend the extra $ and get seats on ticket exchange in a lower-bowl season ticket holder section (between the 10s). You'll be glad you did.
  15. Those French people have a different word for EVERYTHING!
  16. I was thinking about this. Dude's brother, who is considered by security/cops to be too intoxicated to be allowed to stay in the stadium, gets ejected and he knows about it. Does he go with his brother to make sure he's OK? No, he says in and watches the rest of the game.
  17. I dunno - if they were so easy to find, every team would have one. I believe there's way more to it than just having a 260 pound guy run as fast as he can into the pile. Our M.O. seems to be hoping we can coach up some middle-of-the-road players and we're not often all that successful at it.
  18. CMac has been here for almost 4 years. You'd think they would know by now if he was capable of doing this. I've seen Dickerson run the ball once - a miserably failed H-Back hand off that was basically an end-around.
  19. This may become my dead horse. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/152560-bills-have-top-5-nfl-offensive-line/page__st__20?do=findComment&comment=2631181
  20. That one of Kenny is not from last night's game. Ketchup ceremony was done after sundown.
  21. So by ejecting the guy they got him out of the stadium. But did they serve him any alcohol during the game? If so they may be liable. They're not supposed to allow obviously intoxicated people into the stadium in the first place. Another question - does putting obviously intoxicated people back on the street make them liable? Public intoxication is illegal is it not? Should he have been moved to a drunk tank instead of just being deposited outside the gate?
  22. Right - charge another $20 for the cake and $10 as a penalty for being an idiot db.
