  1. You understand that if you play through a soft tissue injury and it's not fully healed, that can lead to a massive injury right? (See Kevin Durant in 2019 finals, Tyrese Halliburton last season) Both tore their Achilles from coming too soon from a calf injury. In respect to you I'm sure you were a good athlete. I was descent myself as i played AAA baseball for many seasons. But Comparing us to Lamar Jackson and nfl players is not even in the same ballpark lol. The doctors aren't gonna clear the 250 dollar man in Lamar if it's not healed, especially in a regular season game.
  2. Have you guys ever had a pulled hamstring or groin before ? Lol. You literally cannot run. There's a massive difference between playing through a pain tolerance injury like a bone bruise (Greg Rousseau for example) compared to a pulled hamstring or like a strained calf No NFL player is playing a game with a pulled hamstring
  3. Haha. All good buddy. Just a bit confused by what you think as you have changed your statements many times on the matter. Anyways, go Bills. Josh> Lamar
  4. In this thread to paraphrase, you have said: 1. He pulled himself out of the game because of a bad situation 2. That you expect him to miss the next game 3. You said he tweaked his hamstring and he's actually hurt 4. Now you said His hamstring isn't pulled. 5. And finally you're hinting like you thinks he plays this weekend Which one is it buddy? As you're just flip flopping your opinion every minute lol
  5. Ok so you're backtracking then. As I can quote you as you said multiple times he hurt his hamstring. I will take the L if he plays this week. Nothing has changed my friend. I expect the same from you if he doesn't play
  6. I'm not sure why you're trying to argue here. You acknowledged he actually did get hurt and has a hammy pull. Correct? Which is what I was saying. So what exactly is your main point. Is it That he's not "tough enough" to play through a pulled hamstring?
  7. Yep. That's the thing. They are basically only competing against the Steelers to get in the playoffs and host a wild card game. As there's no way I see the browns and bengals winning the division lol
  8. No I agree especially if they are 1-5 as that's a tough hole to climb out of. But they are so talented. Their defence also sucked the first half of last year and they turned it around big time. Still a ton of football to be played and assuming they get their guys back after the bye, I would definitely still bet on them to make the playoffs
  9. Most of them will be back after their bye week. Madubuike I believe is the only one who isn't returning
  10. I would be shocked if they don't go at least 5-1 in those games you mentioned. Now injuries is the wild card here. If all their guys are out for 6 weeks, then I would agree. But i believe all of them will be back outside of Madubuike after the bye. They are still going to be a force and a tough out IMO
  11. I hear you, but Their schedule really softens up after the next 2 games. Even if they go 1-5 to start, 10-7 will still get them in the playoffs which I think they will ultimately do
  12. Your 2nd last paragraph where you bolded that McDermott will be in the defensive meetings this week is interesting. Where did you hear that? As if that's true (I have no reason to believe you would make that up) that's not a good sign for Babich
  13. I understand. If you want to talk about Josh Vs Lamar and playoff success in this thread that's totally fair. I just don't know why it was brought up to me when my comment was on Lamar isn't faking an injury. But A hammy pull is a hammy pull. That's not a bump or bruise. Josh or any nfl player would also be missing time with a pulled hamstring. Theres nothing you can do to push through with that injury
  14. Again- No idea how him not playing well in the playoffs has anything to do with faking an injury. Show me any credible source that Lamar Jackson wasn't actual hurt when Tyler Huntley started that playoff year. I'll wait.
  15. Agreed. That's all I was trying to say before the conversation on the previous page got sidetracked
  16. Fair, my apologies as I did get sidetracked replying to comments that weren't really related to what I said. All I was saying was Lamar isn't faking an injury. And somehow that comment got twisted to a conversation about "Lamar not being good in the playoffs" and comparing him to Josh/Mahomes
  17. If he plays next week, I'll take the L and I'll admit I'm wrong. If he doesn't play, then you take the L and admit you were wrong . (As there's no way the ravens would sit him when they are 1-3 if he's not actually hurt) Deal? How does this have anything to do with faking or exaggerating an injury? Lol. Let's stay on topic here bud as you're going down a rabbit hole with this. im not sure why in multiple posts people are bringing up Josh in this conversation and playoff performances. All I said was he's not faking or exaggerating an injury
  18. Respectfully I have no idea what you're trying to imply in this post lol. What exactly am I eating up?
  19. I have watched Lamar and a ton of ravens game. Does he have to control his temper better and need better body language? Yes. Does he need to play better in the playoffs? Yes. But to say he's taking himself out of a game cause he's faking or exaggerating an injury is just flat out ridiculous IMO and this report that he's out 2-3 weeks literally confirms that
  20. Because he doesn't perform great in the playoffs means he's mentally soft and he's a quitter is what you're implying? I guess Peyton manning must have been mentally soft and a quitter as well, as his playoff success before age 30 was poor
  21. Disagree. It was a crazy thought ImO and this report that he's hurt backs it up. The point is: To win multiple mvps in the national football league and to have the success he has had you have to be ultra talented AND ultra competitive. You can't be mentally soft and have the success that he has had In arguably the most violent sport in the world.
  22. Out 2-3 weeks. It's crazy to me a lot of people thought he faked an injury. The guy is a two time MVP and one of the best QBs in the game. You don't get those accomplishments by quitting on your team and giving up when there is adversity
  23. Ive been saying it since mid last year that Babich doesn't have it. I wish McDermott never gave up the play calling duties. Not that 2023 play calling was perfect for him, but the bills defence really turned it around the back half of that year
  24. It still amazes me how Pittsburgh got gashed by the jets offence
