Simms- "Buffalo is the best team in the AFC"
BillsFan130 replied to Stank_Nasty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will still say the chiefs until the bills beat them. If the bills do, then it's arguable IMO Good post. I can't say I'm sold on the chargers yet myself. Like they beat KC yesterday, but I think chiefs turned it over 4 times? That never happens . Chargers are still good, just don't think they are ready to compete with the big boys when it's all said and done. -
Fair enough man. I guess what I was just trying to prove was that it's not as black and white as you said. You may very well be right about the pass rush was sufficient enough. I Just thought it was at least up for discussion. I appreciate the apology. You have a good night as well sir

Ok so some stats for the pass rush for you: 0 sacks. 2 Qb hits. 9 Pressures (compared to 44 last week to put it in perspective) Sure there are other factors, but seriously what metrics for pass rush are more valuable than sacks, qb hits and pressures?
-
The lack of sacks to me is not the only factor, but it's for sure a factor. Especially when they only got 2 Qb hits on top of it. I will for sure acknowledge there are factors besides sacks. But I would actually like to know the "pressure " percentage of the pass rush yesterday because to me, it didn't really feel like there was much with the exception of a few plays . I think 0 Sacks and 2 QB hits reflect that^ In the big picture with everything factored in.
-
I really don't care if you get swayed or not lol. My point is it's not as black and white as you say and you're the one who's "clueless" by making that statement. If you want to disagree that's fine. Just don't be obnoxious about it and call people "clueless " when it's a legit debate
-
Here you go bud. Since I'm "clueless " and there is no room for debate because the pass rush was "very good", you may want to tune into this podcast. About 20 minutes in.

Hmmm I would mostly agree with you. I thought Payne was beating Ford pretty easily though. At least early in the game. Seemed like Ford played better as the game went on though and the interior pass rush was definitely missing for Washington later on to your point. -

He was very underwhelming yesterday. The guy on the locked on Washington podcast was right about him when he said he's not really a difference maker -

It's definitely a little frustrating especially considering the bills put a lot of resources in special teams, and have had 2 massive plays against them in 3 games. Lets hope they clean it up -
Massive problem!

Fair enough man. I appreciate your respectful and insightful comment.
-
Ok bud lol. Have a good night
-
No I don't think they played well. Its all good. We are allowed to disagree. Bills played great today and it was a great game
-
2nd and 10 3:17 left in the 2nd quarter. And 2:35 in the 3rd quarter
-
Many people also agree with me bud. I got 4 people on one post who gave me the agree emoji so it's a matter of opinion. All good man, we'll agree to disagree
-
I'm not dying on any hill bud. They got 0 sacks which is a fact. And they didn't get consistent pressure which is my opinion. And you disagree in saying they got consistent pressure, which is fine.
-
AJ didn't get any sacks but he caused other sacks because : 1. He was dominant and forced pressure to other lanes. 2. The d line got sacks because they were getting pressure from all angles. what's confusing here?
-
He played amazing. And had 0 sacks. Did you notice the bills had 6 sacks last week and 0 today though? Pass rush is about a unit. Not about an individual player. Thank you for proving my point Well 0 sacks is a fact which is a big metric. And in my opinion there were some pressures but not consistently
-
Nope. I didn't say that. But it's definitely a metric. How can you say sacks don't matter in terms of judging pass rush?..
-
Some plays, absolutely. But not consistently at all. And 0 sacks to top it off. That's a fact you can't argue. (Not counting the half a loss push out of bounds by star)
-
He had a rushing touchdown and a few descent scrambles. actually It really is and it's a matter of opinion Lol. what you can't argue is facts and the fact is they didn't get a legit sack. I don't think he was pressured much at all. Some plays? Ya for sure. But not consistently. I appreciate your response. I didn't see it that way so we'll have to agree to disagree. Some plays for sure but not consistently
-
A few plays yes. But 0 Sacks and a lot of time in the pocket for the majority of the time in my opinion Should we start with 0 sacks? Or 1 sack if you really wanna consider star pushing Heneicki out of bounds for a half yard loss
-
Running for his life?... You know they got 0 sacks right? I get there's more to it than just sacks as there's pressures, hits etc. But in what NFL game does a a team have 0 sacks and is considered a great game by the d line? Like seriously...
