  1. 7.5 cap Hit for those 3 combined Lets say on average 900k replacement. So close to 5 mil for just those 3 players alone. My original guesstimate was a bit off admittedly. But the fact remains if you can save close to 5 mil on a cap strapped team, I think you have to do it.
  2. It was 6.2? I thought Matakavich was 3.5 and Neal was 3.3 alone. I Could be wrong Edit: I calculated about 7.5 mil cap for those 3 guys
  3. Ya they won’t tag Edmunds. He’s a LB and “technically “ guys like TJ watt are LBS but they get paid as Elite pass rushers which jacks up the tag for LBs. I think the tag for Edmunds would be like 22 mil, no way the bills can do that.
  4. Some of those guys have cap hits into the 2.5 3.5 mil range. Lets say you sub out 3-4 of those for guys on rookie deals/ veteran minimum vets You are probably looking at 6-10 mil in cap savings. I would say that’s a descent amount
  5. How much worse can it really be in the playoffs though? (When it matters most)
  6. Edmunds reminds me of Leslie. Good to very good against average/mediocre QBs, then just gets toyed with by the great QBs. Will be a hole to fill for sure- But They get carved by Mahomes and Burrow anyways, so what’s really the difference if we have him or not. To be better in the regular season? Spend the money on offence.
  7. Might be true, but I wouldn’t believe anything La Canfora says
  8. You have to factor in the time of possession though. Eagles offence was ripping 8 minute drives basically all game. Mahomes barely had a chance to see the field, so it was even more remarkable they got the yards/points that they did
  9. Outside of Josh Allen, I would say he’s been very average in regards to FA and the draft. Josh was a grand slam pick. Some horrible decisions Some good decisions Some “ok” decisions. Josh was the pick that saved him, and definitely have to give him a ton of credit for that.
  10. Ya exactly it kind of goes hand in hand. Mahomes doesn’t make bonehead mistakes because everything is scripted pretty easy for him. Everything isn’t easily scripted to Josh , so he has to “try to do more” which results in more mistakes. Goes hand in hand
  11. WR2. Give The money you would give Edmunds and give it to a stud guard. Right tackle needs to be addressed as well
  12. Bolton was picked just in front of the bills. We could have traded up to get him of course, but that’s easy to say in hindsight. The big whiff that draft was Basham over Humphrey
  13. Yep. I don’t think the NfL is rigged, but no one can convince me that it isn’t “favoured” for certain teams/players. They are doing everything possible to make Mahomes the next tom Brady
  14. Ya that’s a fair point and I definitely agree with you in regards to missing Beasley
  15. A theory I have is Gabe just wasn’t good enough as a short/intermediate route runner. Also, they didn’t have a true slot receiver. I think We missed crowder more than we thought . I am not defending Dorsey as I thought his play calling was bad. However he may have thought with a flawed WR2 and without a true slot receiver who can consistently move the sticks, the best chance to beat teams would be to go deep
  16. 85 yard Cook TD the first play when the bills took a 17 point lead? I think Vikings last 4 possessions were TD, TD, stopped on the quarter inch line, field goal. Only reason the last drive was a field goal was because the refs missed a blatant 12 men on the field call which resulted in a blown up play Not good
  17. Great against average to mediocre QBs. Horrible against great QBs. Yep its definitely time to make a change IMO, I wanted him out after the 13 second debacle game
  18. Cincis defence has given KC problems the last 2 years. Its not just rush 4. They adjust when things aren’t working. Like going to a 3 man pass rush last year, doing disguised zone blitzes etc. Your front 4 of course has to get there, but you need to be more creative against Mahomes/Reid opposed to just “rushing 4” and doing soft zone basically every play
  19. I’ll watch every single play and snap. But yes I do agree that my excitement level would go down a little. I don’t think the bills will win a SB with that guy as the DC. (MCD also needs to be held accountable as well)
  20. Did you not watch the first series of that game and the playoff game last week? What makes you think the bills were going to win that game?.. Bengals were in a less favourable position last week (on the road, down 3 o line man) and still blew the bills out
  21. Bills got pasted at home by the Bengals, what makes you think they were going to go to cinci on Monday night and win? It was 7-3 and cinci was driving when Damar got hurt, probably was going to be a loss based on the sample size of the 4.5 quarters we saw against playing the Bengals. If Bengals won which I think they would have , bills would have gotten 3 seed and Bengals 2 seed
  22. So burrows 4th year of his rookie deal Will end next year. They can pick up his 5th year option which will kick in 2024, and that should pay him probably around the 25 mil mark. Joshs 5th year option kicked in this year, but his big cap hit won’t start till this season coming up. Assuming Bengals extend burrow this off season, his big cap hit won’t start until 2025. So Joshs big cap hit kicks in 2023, burrows 2025.
  23. probably 2- They will pick up his 5th year option and then year 6 his insane contract will kick in.
  24. what did he say? I turned it off once the game was done
  25. when i saw it live i thought it was a lame call. But it did seem like a late hit to me. Now this doesn't take away the fact that I think the Bengals got hosed on multiple occasions by the refs
