Ya. And One thing that we also forget? If we do lose shorter, who really cares? Draft another guy late next year. Ideally you want to keep your draft picks, but the chances of a 5th-7th round raw player helping a Super Bowl contender this year and next is extremely slim.

I think we are going to see Josh and the starters for at least a quarter. could be wrong but i believe in the past few years, MCD has played them for a few series during the 2nd pre season game

Like I said though- The most important part for the backup QB is to help the starter prepare through the week and on game day. They are basically like coaches. If it helps him prepare better and Josh is comfortable with those guys helping him, why mess with that?

The awkward part is Josh is super tight with Kyle Allen and Barkley, and a big role for the backup QB is to help the starter on game day and with preparation. (As I'm sure you know) I am not saying you’re wrong as I do think QB2 is a liability if Josh ever goes down. But I think Josh will have a big say for who he wants as the guy to help him get ready for game days, and Kyle and Barkley are his guys.

I don’t think pats o line is great, but probably is the best if we are being fair. Jets have major issues at tackle, dolphins line is horrible, and let’s be honest the bills on paper have a pretty mediocre o line. (at least on paper going into the year)

But they aren’t going to franchise him, talk extension, and then take away the franchise tag if an extension doesn’t work out haha. That would completely screw Gabe out of the free agent market and no player would want to come/ resign in Buffalo after that lol

The franchise tag for him next year would be about 20 million, if not higher. There is no way the bills will risk tagging him, as Gabe would hold all the leverage when working on an extension

Let him walk. I don’t think you can pay a WR2, 11-15 mil a year when you have Josh, diggs and Knox locked up, not too mention you just traded up to get Kincaid in the first. Draft one in the early rounds next year and have him cost control for the next 4-5 years

Seems like a good player, but how much can we really expect? Thats not a knock against him. But you for sure have Diggs, Kincaid, Gabe, Cook, Knox ahead of him for touches. I think his most valuable assets will be run blocking and special teams

This frustrates me with Brandon Beane. You basically went all in with a guy who has a history of back pain, combined with his inconsistent play. (To put it nicely) Maybe I’m wrong and brown recovers fast and has a breakout year, but it’s definitely not off to a good start with this injury popping up and his apparent poor start at camp.

Yes they have in my opinion. I think bills are still a better team and will win the division. But if Tua stays healthy, they got a damn good team over there. That Ramsey injury is a big loss for them though

Haha I’m obviously stating a general rule of thumb. There will be many times where Bernard is in coverage . It’s not like every time he’s in he is going to blitz, and not every time Dobson is in they will stack up against the run. My point is I see them using a hybrid type role at the MLB position and will be game plan specific as well. Just my prediction, could be wrong

Early starter MLB prediction: Dobson in on more run plays. Bernard in on more blitz packages. And Rapp comes in on obvious passing downs as the hybrid safety. (Taking off Dobson or Bernard) D williams backs up Milano this year and plays special teams mostly
