  1. Guyz you're derailing this thread!
  2. I believe there is more to the Kap problem than just Kap. The Niners 2014 was a mess because of the tension with Harbaugh and the front office, plus we've seen how Jekyll and Hyde Roman's offenses can be, and then 2015 was obviously a disaster in the wake of the Harbaugh fallout. Nobody on that team was put in a position to succeed, and Alex Smith probably wouldn't have faired much better (recall his record prior to Harbaugh & Reid). I don't necessarily think he can be a top-tier passer, but he has physical gifts that only Cam's can compare to and Chip's system seems tailor made for the guy.
  3. I mean, we can lose these next three games and then win out a la 2015 Chiefs and land us a sweet 11-5 record. But I would think that if we are to make the playoffs we need to win the easy ones. These next three qualify as easy ones. I don't care how good the Rams D is or that it's on the road.
  4. Chip should PONDER it a while.
  5. Oh my gosh. First off, didn't even know Ponder was on the roster. Second, I am all for this change.
  6. He had to start playing Blaine Gabbert as his QB.
  7. I realize we still have to prove ourselves more before we get the respect of the "experts," but I am surprised how many Rams picks are coming in. I think they seem like far more of a flukey 3-1 than we seem a flukey 2-2.
  8. Ragland's injury was a fluke thing and Sammy can still be worth it if he comes back strong after his recovery.
  9. I hear Miami is looking for bad QBs.
  10. Sammy spotted after surgery with Dr. Robert Anderson:
  11. Good for O'Leary. Glad to see him elevate his game. However, I know nothing of this new guy.
  12. I think this depends a little on where we end up in the order and what prospects are available. I feel like more first round CBs bust than WRs but I have no evidence at hand.
  13. The ESPN Power Index is something else, but I don't remember how any of it is calculated.
  14. He doesn't seem to be making much of an impact (positive or negative), but it does seem like Kyle, Bryant and Douzable are doing well as the main linemen. And Rex is moving guys around a lot up there so it's hard to really say anything definitive about the planning and execution. We're used to seeing a starting DL and this year Jerry gets 91% of snaps but then Kyle has taken 79% and the rest of the guys we label as D-Linemen have played less than half of the snaps on an individual basis.
  15. Corey White and Kevon Seymour with another year of coaching probably wouldn't be that bad. Maybe I'm being a homer there, but I also don't think we are going to let Gilmore go unless someone offers him something ridiculous, but I believe Whaley & Co. are already scouting (college and pro) options in case he does walk on us.
  16. Blair Walsh was so good in his rookie year, what happened?
  17. Bradford playing the best ball of his career. Still not otherworldly but finally living up to some of the expectations when he was drafted.
  18. Yeah, I couldn't believe it was working for us so well, but if it works, I'll take it! Won't expect it often in the future but it was an effective wrinkle in our plan yesterday.
  19. No personal concerns here but Minnesota's defense has been fun to watch.
  20. 'Twas. Really glad someone put up a video clip. I hate when fun plays like this go unnoticed.
  21. Haha, this has been my strategy too!
  22. No 2009 Jets did it twice and the 2010 Jets won 5 in a row and then 4 in a row.
  23. Dat Jim Schwartz D!
