  1. It's been gone over many times here. No they won't. Having Hogan as your 2nd best WR isn't a good thing and Woods just isn't producing. Sad to think they might need to invest in getting a better compliment to Watkins. Taylor is the best Qb we've had in quite a little bit, but he's not worth settling over. A new QB to either sit and learn OR take the job is a good idea. Rex needs to fix this defense or leave. Too much investment for too little of a return. Might as well have let Hughes walk with how effective he is being used in this scheme. Looking forward to next year as well John. Though I will say the officiating is starting to really bug me, if I stop watching the NFL it'll be the reason. Not too sure if i'll bother watching next week but I remain a fan.
  2. 4th. But the Jags did take a punter in the third round (Anger) a few years back. So I'm sure some team might go for him in the mid third as well
  3. Have you watched any of Carson Wentz? If Cook isn't around, Wentz is my next guy up. Wonder if Sparty wins a champ does Cook's stock rise? I see him between picks 10-23 Ben Boulware out of Clemson seems to make 2-3 impact plays in every game I watch. Another FF today against the Gamecocks, really hoping the Bills have an eye on him if Bradham walks. Same with Jordan Lewis (Mich CB). Have been liking Vannett the TE from Ohio st. Seems to move around nice just doesn't have many opportunities. Any opinion on him from Yolo/other Buckeye fans?
  4. Coples always seemed to have the talent of an all-pro but took plays off at UNC constantly. Sounds like nothing has changed. Still I'd take a flyer. Better then IK, if the light comes on he has almost the ceiling of Mario.
  5. Shaq Lawson DE from Clemson is underrated even at #16. Very Mario like, great at setting the edge and has bull strength. Constantly was beating double/triple teams last week. Wonder if Clemson's DC gets some NFL interest. He is building a heck of a resume.
  6. Just don't think he's worth the risk as far as cap space goes though, plus whatever the Lions ask for in return. Just keep dreaming about Cook in the Royal Blue
  7. TJ Yates won a playoff game too. QB Depth Chart- Vince Young TJ Yates Tim Tebow Who needs Tyrod Taylor?
  8. Sick of seeing inaccurate throws, then mention the possibility of Tebow? After a loss things just meltdown around here.
  9. We are 3-3 through what was perceived as the tough stretch of our schedule. Adjustments need to be made by the coaches, but the talent on the team isn't the problem. The QB situation still needs to be addressed but this team can reach playoffs this year. They have all draft picks available to trade up for a guy who they believe in if need be, especially since they don't have immediate needs besides QB and OL. No need to tank, its all on scouting for that 1 guy. Also IMO, Dalton is surrounded by underrated talent. Not buying in that he has bloomed.
  10. EJ's performance has been normal for a backup QB. The defense has been unacceptable for having near 300 million spent on just the line. The pass rush is not good enough and I blame it on the scheming being too cute. Dalton should have been tossed on the ground 5-6 times by now. It needs to be fixed and it needs to be more simple.
  11. Completely support Sammy saying what was said. Was any of it incorrect? They traded up to get him, he was rated the top out of a loaded WR class but is used the least amount between OBJ, Evans, Benjamin and Cooks. He does have to stay healthy and on the field, but even when dinged up he makes plays when he gets the ball so why isn't he getting more looks? He is open pretty much every single time he runs a route, it's puzzling why he isn't fed more.. For those saying he has a bad attitude, he has been extremely quiet through 2 years of bad football. The guy is a great blocker and obviously has a drive to be the best. Easy for you to say he should be quiet when you aren't the one losing MILLIONS on his next NFL contract because the team isn't using you right.
  12. A big hit in today's NFL on a WR/RB/QB is most likely a personal foul, whether it is a proper hit or not. Anytime I can hear a hit in the open field on TV, there's a flag. I'd rather just have a safety adequate at run defense/pursuit angles with good coverage skills.
  13. Easley was barely a yard offsides, that happens a ton on kick-offs just is never flagged. If it was a few yards I'd question him but between it being .5-1yd and new kicker I'd just say bad luck. Good calls by the refs today. Think the DPI on Graham was a make-up call for horse collar. Was worried they would call DPI on Gilmore's interception. If it wasn't for the Bills I'd only watch NCAA ball, hate having to watch the refs every time a play is made for either side.
  14. Not to sure. He was a true freshman in 2013 but tore his ACL the next season. Not sure if he lost a year of eligibility. I want to like him, but he seems stiff in the hips and QB play for Michigan has been sooo inconsistent. I'd love to hear what U of M fans think. Hope Chubb didn't, just tuned in. Georgia is my favorite SEC team.
  15. For Michigan check out WR Amara Darboh. Very reliable receiver. Only prospect that has stood out imo.
  16. Malik Jefferson is gonna be great someday. For all their recruiting mistakes the past few years he can be a cornerstone on defense. Absolute monster. If you can't recruit in-state you are going to have problems. Why Texas with how Baylor/TCU/Texas A&M have been developing players? Charlie Strong ran a good ship at Louisville, hope he can get the program back on track.
  17. I'd switch over but Tenn v Florida is excellent so far. Hope I can check Braverman on draftbreakdown (good site for watching player specific snaps)/ Florida's DEs look great at rushing the passer, Bullard has really stood out so far think he has 2 sacks. Hargreaves can be the next Revis. Even with a hurt hamstring, his physical ability is special. Tenn isn't looking his way at all. Reeves Maybin looks great in coverage, but really would like to see more aggressiveness in attacking blockers instead of eluding.
  18. I wouldn't be opposed to that. Still think it's a good idea to grab a rd1-2 QB and park him behind Tyrod for 2yrs. But center would be great high, loved when Dallas picked Travis Frederick in the 20-26 range a few years back. Plus if we could then get Wood's cap hit out then thats just another 4mill to throw elsewhere. Also we need to think about Kyle Williams aging, so DT is a real possibility. Besides C and DT, a lot depends on Kujo developing this year. If he doesnt take a step then we need another young body at T. Imo the Bills let Glenn walk and drop K.Will if necessary to keep Bradham/Gilmore maybe even Harvin if he keeps doing great.
  19. Gonna regret that decision. Barrett seemed to run a more consistent/smoother offense last year, with Jones I don't see them winning the big 10. Wonder how scouts will view J.T Barrett, not too sure what he will add up to be. About this next draft not being a QB draft, this one might be the heaviest we'll see in a few years. This is how QB prospects are now guys, more athletes playing QB then football players who have some athletic traits. Connor Cook and Goff are sure-fire 1st round picks, and while they don't have great physical traits they have run pro style systems, have above average accuracy and clearly progress through their reads. Cook has had criticism regarding his arm strength, but I think it's not a concern. Dude plays outside in East Lansing and hasn't had problems throwing deep. Good enough. Not sure about Kessler. Think he is 2nd-3rd unless he production gets unreal. How any team can risk taking Hack in rd1 is beyond me. Regression in college is a very bad sign, regardless of that abomination "protecting" him. Even if he returned to a pro offense, think he has fallen into too many bad habits to be turned around. Notre Dame Thoughts Malik Zaire (Notre QB) was showing some good signs until he was injured, Jaylon Smith will be one hell of a linebacker in this league. I call bust on Sheldon Day though, too small and not fast enough for DT/DE.
  20. For those overreacting, it was a fourth round pick. How many of those do other teams burn? It really is that simple. Bryce will catch on somewhere else, think he might have requested it as he has too much talent to not be dressed. Richardson for a 1st is still in recent memory as well.
  21. Joe Schobert from Wisconsin looked awesome against Bama as a edge rusher/do-it-all type. Very fluid with enough power to get by. Senior who should be available around the 4-7th rounds Watched most of Texas A&M v. Ariz St. Ricky Seals-Jones seems so overrated to me, he's huge for a WR but can't seem to catch anything that doesnt hit him in the chest, rounds his routes badly. Horrible hands. Anyone see true freshman Lamar Jackson nearly lead Louisville to a comeback? Can tell he has a freshman brain but the talent! Was throwing bullets with some accuracy and had some big league speed, was almost like watching a Manziel with a better arm. Harvey-Clemons also had a very good showing, safety who will probably be 1st round. 6ft 5 safety sounds insane, but the guy had 2 interceptions and looked great in space with the urgency to come down on the run. DJ Foster who switched from rb to WR this year showed some flashes when ASU could get him the ball. Tough fast and very quick feet. Will be a guy who could rise really high come draft time. Myles Garrett will be a top 10 pick when he comes out. Reminds of Mario Williams.
  22. Corey Graham would not keep up with Dorsett or Hilton, part of the reason the safety move is good for him is it negates his lack of foot speed. Give Darby some safety help and he will have a good game.
