  1. Boldin makes sense for the Bills. Bills don't make sense for Boldin. At that age, he wants either money or to win. Why play otherwise? The money here for him would be mediocre and the chance to win is average. Chances are if the Bills called, he probably just said thanks but no thanks. If no wide receivers step up during camp, there will be a few veteran options during cutdowns. Same reasons could be why Bush is taking some time to sign.
  2. Nicholas Cage Dwayne Johnson Vin Diesel Melissa McCarthy Will Smith is close, hopefully he doesnt ruin Suicide Squad for me. Last 10 years has been awful for him. Needless to say I hate the Fast and Furious franchise. Can't believe they've made 8 or 9 or whatever. Tom Cruise annoys me, but the guy has had quality sci-fi films the last few years and there just arent many of them made anymore.
  3. Carr. I'll make a bold prediction that he wins a Lombardi or two and is a future HoF'er. Might I be high? yeah. Distant second is Bortles. Would take Mariota over Winston, but Carr and Bortles over both.
  4. I'll be very disappointed if Gragg makes the roster for another year. Always seems like they are trying to replace him, he has gotten plenty of time to develop and probably can't improve over what he is now. Think TE shapes up Clay, Dray and then one of Annen, O'Leary or a late roster cut from another team. Manny Lawson is a decent starter/excellent depth guy. No reason to cut him other then to save money, the cap space isn't worth it come the start of the season. Highly doubt he goes anywhere. Think Robey is on his way out soon. Between Moore, Seymour and Corey White, why do we need him?
  5. Moved to Houston from Buffalo a year back, gotta say Whataburger is consistently great. Breakfast from 11pm-11am is good there as well. Never bother with Chic-fil-a because the lines here are always out of the parking lot, waffle fries are kinda overrated imo. typically 30-40 min wait during lunch hours.
  6. Only saw Towles in 2-3 games, but liked what he did. Seems to have a strong arm, has athletic bloodlines with Jim Bunning being his grandfather. Seemed to get a lot done with very little. Big fan of Brad Kaaya and Baker Mayfield. Notre Dame has two guys in Kizer and Zaire that are interesting as well.
  7. Well if I remember what i watched correctly, Jim Dray isn't a Lee Smith-bad pass catcher. He is a bit faster and a very underrated addition to the team. Willing to bet he will see a ton of playing time this year. If Clay goes down, I don't feel as bad. Really hoping training camp is the last chance for Chris Gragg, he has had years on the team to develop and hasn't really improved. Time to get another receiving tight end prospect developing. Was keeping an eye on Vannett in the draft this year, but can't complain about not spending a pick. Braxton Deaver a UDFA from Duke, had a good tryout with the Panthers. Wonder if the Bills come around sniffing during camp. Overall, think the situation is improved a little bit over last year. Don't sleep on ClayDray. More concerned over sammy getting hurt.
  8. Mel must have started blazing already this morning.... Corey Coleman/Eli Apple would make the Bills accountable for my TV ending up on the lawn. Doctson is the best WR in this draft, Alexander is probably a better CB then Apple.
  9. If Lynch slides into the 20's, I wouldnt throw things if the Bills were to trade back into Rd.1. Think they absolutely have to dedicate a first round pick to an immediate hole. Cook if he's there tomorrow night would be tempting, think he can go anywhere from pick 15-50. The Bills did have Cook, Prescott, and I think Jones for visits. Expect the Bills to approach picking the QB with value imo.
  10. Getting the feeling that the Bills won't be picking a linebacker in the first two rounds. Few posters have brought up the point that he/Nix haven't really dedicated resources to the position over the years, seems to be a lot of vets and mid round picks. Think we might be looking at another 3rd round backer unless the value is there, like Jack drops or Ragland/Lee are at the top of the second. Is a Zach and Preston Brown combo at inside backer really that bad? Assuming Preston steps it up a little, and not to forget Tony Steward was starting to look starting caliber in practice. If Ragland is the pick, the only guy he is bumping off the field is P.Brown. Is the difference between Ragland and Brown greater then the difference between Lee and the multiple positions he can line up at? If it's a rd 1 LB not named Jack, it has to be Lee. Imo.
  11. Watching most of Cook's games the last 2 years myself, you are correct he did not throw many screens. When Langford was there they gave him to occasional screen but with the committee this year, none of them were very trustworthy with the ball. Michigan st has had mediocre talent at it's skill positions during Cook's tenure. Langford was a great RB, but Holmes and London both really struggled behind a great O-Line and at times couldn't give Cook any running game. At wide receiver in 2014, Cook's primary target was Tony Lippett and he was converted to CB by Miami after being drafted, which tells you all you need to know. In 2015 Burbridge was a average college receiver with very suspect hands who had to be the No.1 WR in that offense, he was drawing double coverage in a lot of games and the other WR's could never beat single coverage. The only guys at Sparty's skill positions that would be starters on other teams were Burbridge and maybe TE Josiah Price. Cook's completion percentage isn't a accurate portrayal of him as a prospect. My QB rankings Wentz Goff/Cook Jones Hackenberg Brissett Prescott Hogan Very surprised Brissett doesn't get more talk. Adams and Rudock as prospects are undraftable imo.
  12. A definite yes he was worth it. Only player in his talent league on the roster is Dareus, Sammy just can't throw the ball to himself unless Roman invents some crazy pass plays. People really seem to forget that Beckham Jr. wasn't exactly setting the world on fire at LSU. If I remember correctly, he was a deep threat who wasn't consistently showing up every game. Landry was the big chain mover at LSU, and probably should have been rated higher coming out of college. Landry and Bryant were both very underrated that year. Watkins and Evans were projected top 10 picks, and both Benjamin and Beckham were anywhere from mid 1st to late 2nd.
  13. Hope the bills are already on the phone with Will Hill, very physically talented.
