An NFL "D" league would be sweet. My ideas: Scrap NFL Thursday night series. Play the developmental league games on Thursday on NFL network. 16 teams, each co-owned by teams in opposite conferences who are somewhat close to each other. SF and Oakland. Miami and Tampa. Dallas and Houston. That kinda deal. Two conferences. Ten game season. Four teams make the playoffs. After NFL week twelve, rosters expand to 60 and they can pull a few guys up.

I think it is dependent on Byrd staying. I don't think they would pull it off if they knew he wouldn't be part of the team. That would be another hole to fill. I'm not sure how much sense it makes, or if there is even a dance partner out there. I just have a hunch... he said "bold" prediction, Moby ____.

My bold prediction is that Buffalo trades UP in the draft. I've always been a fan of trading back, but I feel like the front office may feel comfortable with much of the team as it sits now, and may be very high on one of the prospects.

The public is already going to go crazy, because some in the media keep saying, falsely, that he is a first round prospect. When he goes in the third or fourth, where he belongs, people are going to start foaming at the mouth.

This. A downtown stadium requires so much more than just building a stadium, and in this political setting? Forget about it. Are Heinz and Lambeau so much better than the Ralph where the things listed above wouldn't bring us up to par? (This is a real question, because I have never been there.)
