    They put this article out before free agency has totally wound down, and almost two months before the draft. Ok. Had this situation been reversed, and the Saints lost Byrd to the Bills, I dare say we would be hearing about how Buffalo is overpaying for a position that you can plug a cheap free agent into.

    "A vortex where offensive plays go to die" Seems about right. Any play run to his side was just blown to pieces all season. It was crazy to watch.

    I think the one year contract may have something to do with the future of Pepper. Maybe Spikes doesn't want to be stuck here if/when Pepper pulls a Pettine next year.
