  1. I'm sure I could dig up 100 pennies for you.
  2. According to their website, Mr. Bill's is closed on Sunday, so that isn't going to work. Sorry.
  3. I'm a HUGE fan of Mister Dee's on Beach Road, about 5-10 minutes from the airport (a couple of blocks off Genesee). http://www.misterdees.com/ First class food (among the best wings and beef on weck around), cheap drinks and nice folks. Danny's on Genesee is OK, too: http://www.dannysrestaurant.com/ Finally, Mr. Bill's on Cleveland Drive (right off Cayuga Rd) is quite good as well: http://www.mrbillswny.com/
  4. I knew that. Thanks
  5. I stopped here. What a crappy thing to want to see happen to your favorite team.
  6. It just occurred to me: The White Stripes. Jack Black seems to be everyone's darling, these days. I find his playing to be obnoxious and the songs to be horrendous.
  7. The Madden reference didn't surprise me at all. Great idea, BTW.
  8. Well, if you get together you can't BOTH be T-Bone. Kruger would never go for that. One of you will have to be KOKO.
  9. After partying all day Google looks a bit tuckered out right now.
  10. I agree. For music it was perfectly appropriate, IMO. But highlight reels really should have the play-by-play calls. And there was a part in the first vid where CJ was speaking, but we couldn't hear what he said. Basically, since people have such wildly different tastes in music, I prefer the vids be natural sound.
  11. Boohoo. You don't get what you want. It's not your business. Grow up.
  12. I don't think that's far from the truth. To be a bit fairer to Shanny (why?) he probably preferred to win with an unlimited budget than to try to do more with less. I don't doubt his coaching ability, but I think he figured he was too old/too BIG for this challenge. IMO conquering the challenge the Bills would have delivered would have cemented his legacy as a GREAT coach.
  13. I already had forgotten.
  14. How about the Toronto Gordy's?
  15. Not a factor at all, IMO. They just have to have been popular and well thought of. They didn't ever have to be "good". U2 was never good.
  16. Outstanding! What a great looking kid. I was there. I was drunk. I harassed you. It was fun.
  17. Very nice. I have to say that the music isn't even offensive. Perfectly appropriate for a highlight video, except there really shouldn't be music in a highlight video.
  18. Married BEFORE the 1st Bills game and plans on watching it. He gets an "Attaboy" from me. I'm guessing his bride will relish a little peace and quiet, and the bed to herself, at 7AM on Sunday morning. Tbone, just remember, bring back some champagne and breakfast to the room (or call room service) win or lose.
  19. Well, had Shanny come to Buffalo he probably wouldn't be bringing in all those over-priced veterans. That really isn't the way Ralph likes it and it's hard to get some of those guys to come to Buffalo. So that's probably one reason Shanny isn't here. But if he did come, and was GM/HC, I think the Bill may have had a better shot at getting SOME FAs, something they have a hard time with, now. Yes he handled the Haynesworth thing poorly, IMO. But that wouldn't have been an issue here. But that aside, Shanny is a terrific NFL coach with a proven track record. I wouldn't have minded that, at all. It may have signaled a different direction for the future of Buffalo football. But, since we couldn't get Shanny or Cowher, I'm glad we got Chan. He's the kind of guy who can do more with less...which is the way things are with the Buffalo Bills.
  20. Excellent point. I don't think they celebrate Thanksgiving in England, but it works for the others.
  21. Dunno about a Bills bar. Hope you find one. But I'm almost positive there are bars that have the NFL ticket and will show the game. Let us know how it turns out. Aloha
  22. Sorry. Somehow I got the impression you were supporting the under 5 win prognostications. (I guess because I noticed you harping on the negatives, but paying little if any attention to the positives.) I think that's possible (under 5 wins), if the wheels fall off the bus, but I can't understand predicting it. I think anywhere from 5-8 wins is a reasonable prediction. That's not to say the team can't over or underperform what is reasonable. But, IMO the Bills BIGGEST problem the past few years was not the talent on the field. It was the lack of coaching talent. I think any respectable offensive coach would have been able to squeeze two extra wins out the team each of the past few years. I think Chan is a very respectable offensive coach. The D may be the issue this year, though.
  23. Since they are here on October 1st, I may be letting you know first.
  24. Actually, the Bills REALIST would note both of those things, because they both are true and both matter. They were also try the past several years when the Bills won either 6 or 7 games. You seem to be as dishonest as any homer, if not more so, as you have refused to address why you see the Bills doing WORSE this year then they have in the recent past. Care to try again?
  25. I have to admit, I didn't get the Promo reference in this thread, either.
