  1. Dunno what they are celebrating, but it's pretty cool. http://www.google.com/ Maybe this is tied in to our No Permission avatar situation...it's a conspiracy!
  2. Sam wasn't a WR when he played for the Bills, he was a ST player. He didn't do ANYTHING at WR for the Bills and did little more for the Pats*. In two years with them he had 28 receptions, total.
  3. Think again.
  4. We've been HACKED! I doubt it. OK, now all of them except mine are No Permission.
  5. I saw one on SDS's avatar in your thread. I assumed it was Fearless Leader having a bit if fun. But now others are saying the same thing. Everything is OK for me (except for SDS's avatar, but I assume that's a joke).
  6. Duh I knew that, just went with the OP's initials. But really no excuse.
  7. Outstanding! I kind of like WV, but I was sick of the talk that this game would shut up the Boise State talk for the year. I was pulling for them, a bit.
  8. I assume they use some sort of average weight of a wing, and then divide by that. It's fairer than counting the bones as some wings are bigger than others. Probably takes a lot less time, too.
  9. I don't think you gave 110% on that answer.
  10. Thank you for finally coming clean. so to speak
  11. Almost certainly. Not if he plays like he did in this past preseason. If he plays better, he might.
  12. You aren't reading too much, but too little. Read the article again:
  13. It just cites the LA Times article that is being discussed in the other thread (I just looked for that thread and couldn't find it). CNN isn't ALSO saying it, they are referring to the Times article. (that's why it says "LA Times" at the end of the CNN article.)
  14. You've got the magic touch, Sen.
  15. Well, considering the GMs are in all (or mostly) in different cities, I think you're right about that. But that doesn't mean there is an established network of guys who know each other and do business together. Back in the day, the Browns and the Bills used to do favors for one another on a regular basis...or so it seemed.
  16. That Chris Brown wrote this for the Bills official site is rather interesting. He makes sure he says it's unofficial, but the fact that he even blogged about it says something to me. (Not sure exactly what, but something.)
  17. That's a good rule-of-thumb, but an oversimplification of how it really happens, as I understand it: http://www.winnersedgeonline.com/point-spread-made.html Excerpt:
  18. I live nowhere near Chicago. But based on that post, I would avoid Delilah's. Sounds like it caters to morons.
  19. Another "very valuable" new member. Sorry I've got to call a troll "a troll".
  20. THAT'LL teach him! Dixon to start: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/07/sports/football/07nfl.html
  21. True. But for a number of reasons. Good game, so far.
  22. Boise State isn't going to win any football fashion contest, either.
  23. I understand how the lines are made, and it isn't ALWAYS quite that simple. I think the correct answer to a question on a test about bookmaking would be: Miami would be 9 point favorites if the game were in Miami. What I'm saying is, in reality, I don't think that would be the spread. I think realistically it would be no more than 7 points.
  24. If you're saying "WGR radio sucks", then I agree. Otherwise I was a bit lost.
  25. So, for the sake of this discussion, it sounds like Toronto is overrated. By you!
