  1. We had similar experiences. My first go at a CPAP was a disaster, and the sleep tech was worthless. A few years later I gave it another go, and things were completely different. I had a great tech who really worked with me to find the right machine and mask. I have to have exhale pressure relief. Respironics call it C-FLEX, but others have it under a different name. A heated humidifier is a must for me. I found the unheated humidifier worthless. Some sort of Ramp function is nice. It was a MUST for me for awhile. Ramp simply give you less pressure when you first put the mask on, for a certain amount of time. Then it increases to your normal level. This helps for those who can't get used to the blowing (hehe hehe). I find I use it less often now, as i am used to the pressure and actually kind of prefer it. I went from a very expensive Respironics (the motherboard fried) to this nice, inexpensive machine: http://www.amazon.com/DeVilbiss-IntelliPAP-Standard-Humidification-DV51D-HH/dp/B001PBAHB0 It's really great. VERY quiet. Made in the USA, too, with a 3-year warranty.
  2. It's the advice they (you know, "they" "them") give to people who have trouble going to sleep. If you sleep fine after reading, keep reading.
  3. Obviously is dumber and/or more desperate than I thought. There is a bout ZERO chance he will win this suit. Settle for what? I don't think he gets a dime from ESPN. Maybe he'll have to pay them for bringing this ridiculous lawsuit.
  4. Malin Akerman, best known to me as the hot blond chick from Children's Hospital and as the sexy wife of the crazy redneck in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle
  5. You hitting the Burnt Sienna a bit hard lately? That stuff will kill you, you know.
  6. Sorry, I forgot to answer the question. No I didn't see it. But I wouldn't likely draw that negative a conclusion about someone no matter what it might have looked like to me. As I said, it can happen while simply walking. I'm not saying there is no possibility he is faking it. But he'd have to be a royal POS with about zero football heart, to sit if he could play. I just don't think there are very many guys like that playing football. I certainly wouldn't assume someone is like that simply because I can't tell how they were injured.
  7. No I wasn't covering for him. I'm just saying, you can be injured doing most anything. Nothing worse than some Internet douche accusing a player of faking it.
  8. I tore an ACL walking down the street. Just stepped the wrong way in a small hole in the sidewalk. Also, I sprained my ankle while lying on the couch watching football. It was a sports-related injury!
  9. Psychic Surgery!
  10. Because, as we researchers say, "That's horses#it!" You show me evidence that suggests a slight improvement is draft position is a better predictor of wins the next season than winning in the last half of the season. Go ahead and remove the top teams from your analysis, if that makes you feel better.
  11. Why is he not liked? Is it because he if from California? Because he doesn't mangle the English language as bad as some of the others? I'm joking, yes, but I really wonder why all these rednecks down here don't seem to like him. Does he drive dangerously? Is he particularly arrogant? I don't follow NASCAR much...well at all, really, but from what little I have seen and heard from JJ he seems like a relatively intelligent well spoken fellow. It can't just be because he wins, can it? Was Richard Petty an easy target to root against?
  12. Why are you dividing by 2? His salary this year is over $3.2 million. You said otherwise. The Bills may be only paying half of it, but his salary isn't 1.7. EDIT: OK, I misread what you said. My bad. EDIT to the EDIT: Actually I see what I did. I responded to the wrong post. I was really responding to Why SO Serious who suggested SM's salary was 1.7.
  13. Spectacularly bad idea, other than getting rid of the hard shell. And rugby is for mooks not talented enough to play football.
  14. Tasker has gotten a bit better over the years, but he still sucks as an announcer.
  15. Here ya go: http://www.everydayshouldbesaturday.com/2009/10/06/tim-tebow-returns-with-giant-nerf-helmet-to-practice/
  16. Not if I lived in Italy. But, since I live in the US of A, I'd have to ask, "What's the upside of hanging around with hairy legged and armpitted chicks?" I know there is an upside to smoking pot. I may, on the rare occasion, post stoned. You post like one of the crayons is stuck in your brain. Are you Homer?
  17. I think it's becoming evident the talent on the team is better than many believed. If these guys won 6-7 games with Jauron as HC, they CAN'T stink that bad. It has simply taken Chan some time to figure out their strengths and weaknesses, and for them to learn the new system and to learn to play to WIN and not simply to not lose. Cutting Trent was when things started to get better. The Edwards period turned out to be a disaster. "It's tough to play in the NFL" It has to be tougher when your starting QB has no ball sack.
  18. I think the 2nd one looks like he's doing it on his own MORE than the 1st one.
  19. No, they have done nothing to make the OUTSIDE softer as far as I know. The Kelso helmet should be mandatory, and they can make improvements on that.
  20. Cartoonishly big foam helmets! I'm talking HUGE foam helmets. Maybe even inflatable. Protect the head, can't hurt anything. Lead with the head and you'll just bounce off. Maybe the top portion of something like this (without the "tail").
  21. Yes, I'm seeing $3.269 million. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/player_main.aspx?id=3171&sport=NFL
  22. Merriman's contract is more than 1.7, I believe. How would you see any offers? You work for the Bills?
  23. Snort it through a straw.
  24. I said, if I lived "near Hertel". I wouldn't attend, but if I lived "near Hertel" I might happen upon it in the course of my day.
  25. You work for the Bills? I don't pay the guy one cent.
