  1. One might conclude posting in a drug/pot-related thread shows some interest.
  2. Nice. Got a bit of Dr, John in him...so to speak, of course.
  3. A bit of both, on a good day, Ye Ole.
  4. All along I thought it was the chair I was sitting in at the bar.
  5. Yes, I think anyone who has an interest in trying pot should try it. The downsides are mild and should not deter you. I'm not suggesting everyone smoke pot if they don't like the effects. I'm not suggesting getting high all the time. I'm not suggesting trying it while driving, working or caring for your 2-year old nephew. I'd also suggest people try sex at some point in time, even if they aren't married. (I'm SO bold.) A glass of wine, or a fine beer is something I'd recommend most try, at least once, too. My life is "fine and dandy" though I have never been to Europe. I don't take exception to those who suggest I go once to experience it. Au contraire. If you are VERY important, you can do what you want, when you want. It's good to be the King.
  6. You should definitely smoke pot before you go to the movies. I'd bring in a snifter of cognac (or whatever does it for you), too.
  7. Looks like the kid just jerks on his own, to me.
  8. Good think I don't live near Hertel or I'd have to root for Fitz to fail to pass for 30 TDs. I have no interest in seeing Sully in his undies.
  9. Looks like an Onion News report.
  10. And he is apparently too stupid to hate on the right guy in this situation: Seymour. Of course, Seymour is a former Pat* and WEO is a Pat*'s nob gobbler.
  11. If you have a light day planned, or can handle it, I'm all for it. Me, I can have a drink or two and still function properly for most things. But I don't work effectively if I'm stoned. I know people who are the opposite and are simply useless if they have one beer or glass of wine with lunch, but are fine after puffing. Individual differences. Moron. A week from tomorrow is Tuesday. Sheesh.
  12. Correct. And he took a shot to the head. This is a phenomenally stupid thread.
  13. I can imagine that, and have no problem with it. I just may do that tomorrow, if I have no calls to make.
  14. You think Zombies get stoned? Wouldn't that explain why they are always so hungry?
  15. I find it funny one man's excellence can ruin an entire sport. I find it funnier that you believe that.
  16. I'm rooting for the Bills.
  17. #1. Your initial response before you edited this post was far more insightful than the response above. Basically, you repeated "I know you are but what am I?" another time. #2. Tom isn't my friend. We have never met. We spar on occasion. I don't have to defend Tom. He's a big boy and does a fine job defending himself. While I don't think IQ is a particularly good measure of intelligence, I'd guess he has a good 50 IQ points or more on you. #3. While I am not a statistician by any means, I have 20+ years in research and I think I do a fine job of analyzing data. Judging by the posts I have read, where you discuss data and stats, I think you should demand your money back from whoever taught you. Of course, it probably isn't their fault. Some people simply have no feel for analysis.
  18. OK then.

  20. While it is certainly possible Fitz' production decreases next year (based on any number of things, including those mentioned in the OP), I don't think he will have what I would call a "sophomore slump". For one thing, Fitz has been in the league for SIX years. A big part of a "sophomore slump" is the relative youth and inexperience of the athlete, IMO. I don't think he will fail due to not being able to handle the success or not having a thorough understanding of the game.
  21. I think this team is already in the process of turning it around. It started with ditching Dick and took a big step forward with the release of Trent. They are now learning to play hard and win. Granted they have beaten two bad teams, but you have to start somewhere. Winning will pay off bigger dividends than any one particular player in the draft. While there may be one terrific player they miss out on, there is going to be more than one terrific player in the draft, particularly early in the first round. They almost certainly aren't going to win the SB next year in any event. But they can be a solid competitive team IF they learn to win. And if the FO can figure out who to keep and who needs to go. That determination is best made when the team plays to win, and when it wins.
  22. Reed was a 4th Rd pick.
  23. A pox on you! It was a crappy episode, but the reference was strong, dammit!
  24. I despise Collinsworth, but I haven't noticed anything anti-Vick from him tonight. But it you have to ask why someone might hate Vick, perhaps you were asleep for a few years.
