  1. Correct! Well, it would be if he was one of the "Hot Mormons". But it's his wife who is featured. Try again.
  2. Which of these things is not like the others...
  3. Rebroadcast? I don't believe the NFL allows that, except for Pre Season games.
  4. Agreed. As I said earlier, most Mormons I have met are fine people. The religion is a bit weird, but aren't all organized religions? One thing I like about the Mormons I know: they never talk religion to me. That's a bonus in my book.
  5. So, you're saying he is a disingenuous sellout? I'd agree with that.
  6. The very nice Mormon I hired was a drinker, smoked pot and married an Asian woman. Needless to say, he was the "black sheep" of the family. Still he was very close to his family.
  7. ????? The Bills lead the entire game and Detroit would have needed a two-point conversion to tie it. Not sure what the hell you are talking about.
  8. My bad then. I read that post several times and didn't notice that instruction.
  9. Agreed. That's why I called it a "minor complaint". But i like Fitz on the sneak a whole bunch.
  10. Outstanding! Got it. But not sure why you would simply assume everyone would know that, and to look there.
  11. My only real complaint was the play call on 4th down in the first half. Fitz is quite good on the QB sneak, IMO. Line up, quick snap and let him get the 1st. But I understand that is a trivial complaint.
  12. Not sure what "Member ID" means. I tried "thedean" and "the dean", but neither worked. I notice SDS used a number in the link where he chastised metzelaars_lives for being confused. But I have no idea where one gets their member ID number, if there is such a thing. On My Profile page, I can't find a Member ID number. Now, I have already replace my avatar, so I'm not in need. But perhaps someone who has successfully recovered theirs might give a detailed, blow-by-blow "how to" for others in need. For example, what is a "member id"? If it is a number where does one find it? etc. Just a thought.
  13. Well, I'm no expert, but I'll take a shot here. I think this is a dynamic page, and doesn't have a static url that you can link to. The Amazing Race page is created dynamically from the static url http://www.cbs.com/video/. From what I understand (which is very little, BTW) it is possible to have direct links to dynamic pages. But I think the web designer has to supply special code for that to happen. From what I can see, there is no way to direct link to the page the way it is currently created. Now watch someone with actual web skills completely destroy that explanation and give you the link.
  14. The Blue Angels is really a sight to behold. Watching (and hearing) these jets buzz downtown San Francisco is breathtaking. It is also a spectacularly bad idea. The Blue Angels, while very skilled pilots, are not without flaw and they have experienced more than a few accidents while flying these shows in other cities. If they ever hit the Transamerica Building, the same people who applaud this show will be asking "What in the world were they thinking, letting this thing go on in the middle of the city?" I won't bother to address the cost of these shows in a time when many are demanding the gov't tighten its belt. By the way, I'm not against the air shows. I simply think they should be conducted in the bay, and not over the city where an accident can spell disaster.
  15. I'm sporting a modified Van Dyke these days (without the two shaved pieces at the top of the beard below the lip). EDIT After further review, I think this guy simply can't grow hair in that area, as it is bare no matter what beard style he has. I've been contemplating going with the Zappa.
  16. Elvis impersonator?
  17. Not a Food Channel fan, I see.
  18. So there's that. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-bills-injuriesx109
  19. He gave us an incredible number of movies: some great, most at least fun and/or interesting. And, through his daughter, he gave us Giada. Not too bad for a Neapolitan.
  20. I don't like to stereotype, but I agree with you. I don't subscribe to their religious beliefs, but the vast majority of Mormons I have known have been very fine people. I almost didn't hire one guy because I thought he was TOO nice and considerate. Turns out he was Mormon ("That explains it", I thought) and one of the best people who ever worked for me.
  21. I think Joe Namath took most of his snaps from under center.
  22. No! But I'd pee on her phone, if she asked politely.
  23. Maybe they start with something like this.
  24. Best anchor? Dunno about that. Certainly the most unusual. And there has never been a bigger comedic decline than going from Norm to Colin Quinn. Quinn reminds me of Conan in a way. They are supposedly very good comic writers, but both mangle the comedy in their delivery.
