  1. Yes, I posted it earlier. I'm sure it got lost in the flurry: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000518335/article/tyrod-taylor-named-bills-starting-qb I find the description of his source a bit tortured: "a source informed of the team's thinking"
  2. Actually, so can Clay.
  3. I have no doubt Glazer is reporting what he has been told---and is confident in the source. What I'm saying (and apparently doing a poor job of) is that if the leak is coming from outside the Bills organization, it could be a mis-direct or poor lead. Now I don't expect that is what it is, given Glazer didn't say "probably" but reported it as a done deal. But I thought his description of his source was a bit odd.
  4. What's your take on this? Did Rex/Roman authorize someone to leak the info (or leak it themselves) for PR purposes? Or do you think it is a true leak---agent, another coach, player? If the later, there is always the possibility Rex is playing whack-a-mole. Possibility, not probability.
  5. While I believe the report is true, it could be someone other than Rex leaking this. In fact, it most certainly isn't Rex, IMO, given the way Glazer describes his source. Again, I'm not suggesting it is a smokescreen, and Glazer wouldn't report it if he wasn't pretty sure his source was accurate.
  6. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000518335/article/tyrod-taylor-named-bills-starting-qb "a source informed of the team's thinking" Still no official announcement. Makes sense if TT plays the entire year and never gets hurt. But having some RB pass protection is a good idea no matter who your starting QB, IMO.
  7. Oh God no. Don't curse him with the Flutie handle. I expect TT to actually win some playoff games in the NFL (unlike Douggie).
  8. I think that's probably how it went down. But I still don't see anything on the BB.com. Did anyone get a tweet from the Bills on this yet?
  9. I don't think the Bills have announced it yet.
  10. Agreed. This is what I've been hearing for the past week, so it isn't a surprise. But is this really official? Have the Bills announced it? Did Glazer site a source? His tweet didn't.
  11. I'd be fine with him going to the Cowboys. Really I would root for him anywhere, other than with another team in the AFC East. It is a sad day for Bills fans, that's for sure.
  12. My day just got ruined.
  13. I don't think Schefter has any inside information here. I think he'll end up being right, but it isn't because he knows something, IMO. I think that has been a bit overblown, for the most part. And from what I hear, Roman has been on board with TT for a couple weeks at least. As I posted earlier, I'm heard weeks ago they had some general feelings about the QB position, and at the time it was Rex for TT and Roman for Cassel. But with no other info coming out, it becomes big news and blown out of proportion. Same whispers, actually.
  14. Holy crap. You have my sympathy, especially this time of year. I doubt the thread lasts past the AM, but what do I know. I hope for your sake it does.
  15. 2010, or last week. Whatever.
  16. I can't see this thread staying open for long, as there are a good number in progress where this could have been posted. I didn't even notice it was you, Tipster. The mods have been in a closing frenzy of late. But maybe you get by because it's late Sunday night. You should know better, IMO. According to rumor.
  17. Not splitting. Just enhancing. It was a joke, son. If I was splitting hairs, you might need something like this: http://www.lorealparisusa.com/en/products/hair/hair-care/treatments/advanced-haircare-total-repair-extreme-split-ends-fixer.aspx
  18. Yes, how could I forget. But he's another with height issues. But man is he a baller.
  19. What ever happened to the idiot who constantly posted Freddie was too old and slow to play? Never mind, I don't care.
  20. Even with experience that will, most likely, always be a problem for him. But with experience we should expect him to learn to get better position, play the ball better, etc. I thought the plan was to play him in the slot, this year. If Leo is good to go for the season, it shouldn't be a desperate situation. But if necessary, are they considering moving Graham back to CB for awhile?
  21. Wow, that's a good one. But anyone capable of winning Rookie of the Year probably has a bit more going on than those two.
  22. I think anyone who actually thought a rookie CB, especially one of his stature, wouldn't experience some problems this year didn't know what the hell they were talking about. That's par for the course in the evaluation of DB play from the press and general football public, IMO. Leodis is far better than many here give him credit for. And, if you've been paying attention, Rex admitted he purposefully put the CBs into difficult situations to help develop better communication. That suggests Darby won't be in those situations much this year. I'm not saying I'm particularly encouraged by Darby's performance, but I know better than to write him off, at this stage.
  23. Comparing any QB to Ryan Leaf is analogous to comparing any political leader to Hitler. Where do you go from there?
