    Teo first, our defense needs help big time. Then trade up for a good QB or wait till 2014.

    The one advantage of picking a new HC early is that he can hire a staff before other teams are ready.

    Russ and Nix are rolling the dice instead of playing it safe. He's young and can be here a long time if it works out.

    Hope he has the connections to hire a good staff. I would start with the bills last OL coach. He knows if Nassib can make it in the NFL. Saving money on a HC, they better sign Levitre and Byrd.

    If the bills take A. Smith , hope they don't give more then a 3 rd pick

    Kelly reminds me of Saban only because they are both great at the college level. Saban could not transition to the NFL in Miami, maybe Kelly could. I just prefer a NFL track record, Pete Carroll , did good so far, Jim Harbaugh played in the NFL. Just a quess on my part.

    He's 31 starting to get injured. Being a backup will prolong his career. He's well paid and respected here, why move on?

    Whis. last 3 yrs. 5-11,8-8,5-11, 45-51 after 6 yrs. L. Smith 11-5,8-8,10-6, 81-63 in 9 yrs. I would take Smith who could help our defense

    The next HC hired by the Bills will determine how long Whaley and Nix stay, now that Ralph is out of the process. I would have met with L. Smith first, he must feel slighted.

    Now we can blame or give credit to Brandon or Nix , without wondering if Ralph had it his way.

    For a 3rd round pick, maybe. Lynch was given away for less.

    If Ralph is no longer calling the shots, who pulled the plug on Chan and his whole staff? Nix wanted Chan to stay ? The OL coach did a very good job with all the injuries there.

    If they resign Levitre, Byrd and hire Lovie Smith I'll be a believer. I would still wait for 2014 to use a 1st round pick on a qb . A healthy OL should give even Fitz enough time to checkdown.

    Get Lovie Smith. To get Gruden away from MNF, Ralph might have to give him part ownership of the team.

    Polian could be a consultant , use his experience and connections for new coaching staff, drafting, trades.

    Lovie Smith is the best available by far. He could attract a good staff.

    Drastic contract restructure, he starts till the next QB is ready. Then he can be kept as a backup or if he wants to be traded.

    Agree, Fletcher, Poz, Whitner, Bills would be a lot better defense. We need Teo and resign Byrd. Stop letting good players walk FA

    I'am all for Lovie Smith, Head Coach here. He's the best available ,good record, good person.

    Te'o this year, 2014 has better QB's

    I think Reid's 1 st choice is San Diego, he's from LA. Good record, will be more careful picking assistants but needs a good GM ,draft and better trades for him to succeed.
