  1. Will he gamble or play it safe , we will see.

September 6: Players released the day prior can be claimed on waivers by other teams until 11 a.m. (CDT). After 11 a.m. (CDT), those players are effectively free agents. At this same time, practice squads can start being formed for each NFL team. http://www.battleredblog.com/2015/8/18/9172073/nfl-calendar-2015-roster-cuts-injured-reserve-designation-timeline
  3. So far GR has convinced 5% of listeners that Cassel should start .
  4. It would be a good idea to hire an assistant OC to learn everything he could from Roman in case he moves on to HC.
  5. Seeing it takes time to develop a CB , better lock in Gilmore soon. I would hate to lose Glenn just when the OL is getting it together.
  6. The Bills with too many good players and injuries , it will be very difficult for the final cut down. If there is space on the 53, I would keep Cassel for now.
  7. Goodwin has really improved this year, no one could survive that dirty play . I'am thinking IR and try again next season.
  8. What a difference having Roman and Kromer here .
  9. EJ is progressing , tie with Taylor so far. Cassel is a safe back up like Fitz and Orton.
  10. I still go with EJ one half and Taylor the second in the regular season .
  11. Simms looks good for PS , maybe better then Tuel
  12. Give Bryant playing time and he did very well
  13. The Redskins are planning on starting Kirk Cousins at quarterback in their regular-season opener against the Dolphins, sources told ESPN's Dianna Russini http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/13538010/washington-redskins-planning-starting-kirk-cousins-qb-week-1 Report: Several Washington offensive linemen dislike RG3 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/08/27/report-several-washington-offensive-linemen-dislike-rg3/
  14. Mettenberger's play has generated its share of radioactive debate, with detractors swatting him down as a "statue in the pocket" with "slow eyes." http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000515814/article/whisenhunt-shoots-down-mettenberger-trade-whispers
  15. Looks like good weather, mid 70's , no rain or wind , low humidity. Lets see the QBs with the ones
  16. When Simon talks, Rex listens , cool
  17. I prefer listening to Murph , easy on the nerves. Enjoy hearing his analytics guests like PFF , and professional scouts.
  18. "But the rules squeezed out much of the offseason conditioning work. That's a problem, because the exercises and drills that can prevent ACL tears and soft-tissue injuries take additional time and must be reinforced over a series of weeks. "These guys need to be doing those drills two months before they get on that field," Hewett said."
  19. It might be worth the risk to play EJ one half and Taylor the other until one clearly develops into a full time starter. It would mean not making the playoffs this season, but a investment in the future. Drafting a QB in 2016 would take even longer to develop with no guarantee either.
  20. Very good insight matter 2003 to a serious problem. Would wearing knee braces in practice and non regular season games help ? Seems like more fabric braces are starting to come on the market. A quick look seems MRI is safe Magnetic resonance imaging, or MRI, is a way of obtaining very detailed images of organs and tissues throughout the body without the need for x-rays or "ionizing" radiation. Instead, MRI uses a powerful magnetic field, radio waves, rapidly changing magnetic fields, and a computer to create images that show whether or not there is an injury, disease process, or abnormal condition present. http://www.radiologyinfo.org/en/info.cfm?pg=safety-mr
  21. Supply and demand at work , plus the salary cap.
  22. Poll now on WGR 550 , who should start at QB Saturday and play the longest
  23. Focus on running game and let QB read just one side of field each play. New playbook will take time for receivers and any QB to get it right.
