    One key to this season is the OL to have a running game. It will hurt loosing Kromer for the first 6 games unless he's allowed to coach them during the week. The RB injuries are a concern.

    The Bills could drive other teams crazy using EJ in the 1st half and Taylor in the 2nd to go with ground and pound. Let both QBs develop.

    They have the right idea , ground and pound until EJ or Taylor step it up, with Cassel the back up.

    My memory isn't that good , but wasn't that one reason they switched to Orton ?

    I think Roman should make the call after talking to his main receivers . It would be bad to have receivers sulking and quitting on routes if they are unhappy with the QB.

    I would like to see EJ play first half against Steelers, Taylor second half. They know what Cassel can do in the past. With so many WRs and RBs out its difficult to judge any QB. Difficult to get any chemistry going. 4th preseason game means keep starters out and safe, look at back ups before final cut.

    My only concern with paying Dareus over $90m here , I think he is worth it but. Can the Bills afford to resign Glenn , Gilmore and Bradham ?

    He comes across as greedy knowing that the salary cap cannot allow unlimited pay for all good players. Shows he could care less if taking less could mean a winning team. I would be ready to trade him now.

    I agree, that's why Gilmore is key , and I hate to lose Glenn

    Players despise the franchise tag for good reason. No guarantee except for 1 year money. If they have a serious injury that's all. They can go into a self preservation mode till they become a FA. Either re-sign him or trade him. Glenn, Gilmore, and Bradham are also at stake here.

    Time to gamble and go with EJ and Taylor. They will lose games with mistakes but that is the only way to develop them. Even in the regular season , each play a half ?

    Cassel is still the back up QB. Time to let EJ and Taylor go for it. They are going to make mistakes, hope both have it all together by the end of the season.

    I will be very surprised if the Bills can re-sign Dareus, Glenn and Gilmore and still stay under the salary cap. Which one could be traded for a 1st rd pick or more to replace with a affordable player ? The only time a good player has trade value is if he has at least 1 year left on his contract.

    No way I would cut EJ. Hope he can develop into a decent back up at least. The Jets just signed Matt Flynn, slim pickens out there for QB
