Andrew Luck to Bills speculation/chatter
ALF replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is about to start throwing, and has gone to Los Angeles to work with passing gurus Tom House and Adam Dedeaux. While adding the noted tutors (they work with some guy named Tom Brady, among others) is interesting, the fact Luck is close to throwing again is huge for the Colts, and suggests his rehab from last year’s shoulder injury is going well and that he won’t need another surgery. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/01/30/andrew-luck-about-to-start-throwing-with-new-mentors/ -
Should we throw Peterman on the trash heap for 1 bad outing?

Let's see him with the new OC and a OL blocking scheme that fit the players we have. Hoping he can at least win the backup QB job. -
Andrew Luck to Bills speculation/chatter

Indy wouldn’t go for a straight up Luck-Glenn trade but Glenn + number 22 + a 2018 second may get the job done. https://www.nflchatter.com/2018/01/29/buffalo-bills-set-for-big-moves-in-2018-trade-period/ It would have to be conditional 2019 picks, who knows if he can play and survive being driven into the turf. His remaining contract is fine if he can play. -
Predict which team will sign Kirk Cousins (Poll)
ALF replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Browns have the cap room to sign Cousins then trade down from #1 and maybe #4 to do a real rebuild under Dorsey. -
It’s not surprising that Bills new secondary coach John Butler has a history with head coach Sean McDermott, but their ties are not from the coaching world. The two accomplished coaches have never coached together. Butler and McDermott were actually high school teammates on the LaSalle College high school football team in Philadelphia. Former Houston CB A.J. Bouye, who signed a huge free agent contract with Jacksonville, after emerging as a Pro Bowl caliber talent under Butler, credited him for his development into a premier NFL cornerback. “He’s helped me out a lot,” said Bouye, of Butler. “Sometimes, we joke about all the meetings we have. At the end of the day, you have to appreciate it. He’s always letting us know what to expect. We watch so much film. He’s keeping us alert and he’s helped out a lot on our techniques and studying film. It makes it easy.” http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2018/01/31/butler-has-history-with-mcdermott/

Beane must have a plan not making a better offer to KC for Alex. Cousins must be asking too much . Scot Mccloughan ✔@MccloughanScot I would have never traded Kendall. He can play inside & outside, he's high character, young & a football player https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/958549939398815744 … 11:54 PM - Jan 30, 2018

Super Bowl XXXIX Rematch: Do the Eagles Stand a Chance?
ALF replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Former Eagles coach claims Patriots may have stole signals in Super Bowl XXXIX Former Philadelphia Eagles defensive coach Steve Spagnuolo said Monday in a radio interview that his defensive staff was suspicious the New England Patriots knew their signals during Super Bowl XXXIX. Spagnuolo said he went back to the tape after the game and his suspicions were confirmed. http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2018/01/30/former-eagles-coach-claims-patriots-may-have-stole-signals-in-super-bowl-xxxix.html -
If the Bill's don't trade for Alex Smith , or sign Bradford or Bridgewater , Fitz would be a ok bridge jmo
-
The Bills still need a bridge QB whoever they draft.

Eric Wood “retirement” press conference
ALF replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't blame the Bills for trying to save cap space as long as Eric gets the same payout. Coach or ambassador to make up any difference. -
If Taylor is let go his cap hit is something like $8M. The bills could find a cheaper bridge unless they trade for Alex Smith. That would give enough time to develop a drafted QB. Very critical draft , free agency and trade time. Bridgewater and Bradford could also be a option if healthy.
-
Hopefully he will be able to participate at the combine and pro day. I think he will be there when the Bill's pick. Drafttek has him rated the #2 QB though https://www.drafttek.com/2018-NFL-Draft-Prospect-Rankings/Top-QBs.asp

Report: Baker Mayfield Leaves Senior Bowl After 1st Half to Be with Ill Mother Mayfield saw limited action in the all-star game before concluding his weekend. All told, he completed three of his seven passes for nine yards before turning things over to fellow North squad signal-callers Josh Allen and Tanner Lee. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2756296-report-baker-mayfield-leaves-senior-bowl-after-1st-half-to-be-with-ill-mother His mind was not in the game . Will see how he does at combine.

I would try to get Alex Smith for a 3rd rd and take a qb without moving up. If the new scouts can really id a good QB try to move up. It's going to take a few good years of drafting to fill all the holes .
-
Sign Cousins , trade down #1 for a rebuild.
-
That's the site I was looking for , thank you One Buffalo .
-
When I donated , I put in honor of Eric Wood , what a great guy
-
If Browns overpay Cousins they can trade down from #1 not having to draft a QB and rebuild from there.

How lucky the 49ers were to get Jimmy G.

2018 Senior Bowl: Wednesday Rumor Mill By Charlie Campbell In speaking with a few general managers and sources at other teams, including some directors of college scouting, they all felt that there would probably be three quarterbacks who are chosen in the top 10 picks of the 2018 NFL Draft. Those three signal-callers are UCLA's Josh Rosen, USC's Sam Darnold, and Wyoming's Josh Allen. After that trio, they thought two more quarterbacks would go in the first round, with those being Louisville's Lamar Jackson and Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield. They expect Jackson and Mayfield to be mid-to-late first-rounders. Read more at http://walterfootball.com/seniorbowl2018rumors3.php#e6Mh4xhRsh1lWuX0.99
