After these massive protests for a just cause I would not blame any players for taking a knee. It's not about the flag at all from here out. -
Young people make dumb mistakes , I would give Fromm a chance to prove he has changed.

Wealth inequality is too far out of balance today to even start to solve the problem. -

Outsourcing good paying factory jobs to low wage countries was a disaster. Tax cuts for the wealthy could have help pay healthcare for the working poor. Affordable housing is critical , just look at California . After borrowing trillions for the pandemic the country is in deep trouble. -

Living wage jobs with healthcare regardless of education and affordable decent housing. This goes for people with a conviction or prison time. -
Should absentee ballots be illegal?

2020 ELECTION Georgia election 'catastrophe' in largely minority areas sparks investigation Hourslong waits, problems with new voting machines and a lack of available ballots plagued voters in majority minority counties in Georgia on Tuesday — conditions the secretary of state called "unacceptable" and vowed to investigate. Democrats and election watchers said voting issues in a state that has been plagued for years by similar problems, along with allegations of racial bias, didn't bode well for the November presidential election, when Georgia could be in play. Cody Cutting was in a long line at Lang Carson Community Center in the Reynoldstown neighborhood of Atlanta, where the line snaked around the block and some people had been waiting to cast their votes for 4½ hours. Voting problems also plagued Fulton County in 2018, which led to allegations of voter suppression by Democrats. The secretary of state at the time was Brian Kemp, a Republican, who wound up winning the governorship by a thin margin against Democrat Stacey Abrams. Abrams at the time called the election "rotten and rigged." "She responded: 'I never got an absentee ballot. That's why I'm here,'" Roth said. The woman was sent to an area with other would-be voters who'd had similar issues. "The individuals had requested absentee ballots, but they didn't arrive in time to send in, but when they showed up to try and vote in person, they were blocked because the system had indicated they already had an absentee ballot, which, again, they said they never received,” Roth said. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2020-election/georgia-secretary-state-launches-investigation-after-unacceptable-voting-problems-n1228541 -

2020 Election is officially Trump vs Biden
ALF replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So you think if Biden were elected it would be better if he did not have advisors ? Record high federal , state and local deficits, record unemployment , pandemic , civil unrest , bankruptcies , evictions foreclosures , vehicle repo , yep Trump in a landslide -

If Biden were elected he would have handlers or Cabinet pulling the strings . Just hope they would be competent. I would be ok with a good committee calling the shots. -
Living wage jobs regardless of education. Those were mostly outsourced to low wage countries.

Anyone peaceful any age leave them alone

I don't see any intent to harm by either officer . It looked like the supervisor behind one officer pushed him into the man to move him back. You just don't treat elderly like someone younger.
-
A elderly harmless man , just go around him Focus on looters and rioters instead of peaceful demonstrators

Buffalo PD assault older gentleman, leave him to bleed
ALF replied to Reed83HOF's topic in Off the Wall Archives
That's how to handle a elderly person , a young person the shove would be ok. I don't think the 2 officers should be fired just more training. I left Buffalo after HS and I always pray for my place of birth, I grew up on the near east side -
No to defund , yes to more training

If a person does not have common sense and decency they should not be in law enforcement.

Why are so many police taking a knee lately ?

This Nov is a special case if covid 19 returns in force. The poll station workers are mostly elderly and would not risk working that day. That happened in the Wisconsin primary. -
Boris Johnson lays out visa offer to nearly 3m Hong Kong citizens Boris Johnson has opened the path to what he called one of the “biggest changes” to the British visa system, stating he was ready to offer a right to live and work in the UK to any of the nearly 3 million Hong Kong citizens eligible for a British National Overseas passport. The prime minister’s offer would come into play only if China presses ahead with new security laws that strip Hong Kong of its traditional freedoms. “If China imposes its national security law, the British government will change its immigration rules and allow any holder of these passports from Hong Kong to come to the UK for a renewable period of 12 months and be given further immigration rights including the right to work which would place them on the route to citizenship.” https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/jun/03/britain-could-change-immigration-rules-for-hong-kong-citizens

Police all over the country are taking a knee in front of the protesters . I would think that gives NFL players the go ahead to do the same.
