  1. I think he's a capable receiver. He caught the ball well at the combine. And it's weird, watching his highlights he didn't catch one screen pass. I think it's more offense design than anything.
  2. I could see Oliver playing 70% of snaps and possibly a little more. I like DL rotation. Those big dudes can get gassed out lol! I like that in the 4th quarter our guys are going to be fresher than yours.
  3. We seem quite deep at OL and RB, it feels weird to say that. The two biggest needs imo, were to strengthen running game and pass rush. I'm happy how things are shaping up.
  4. Yeah that's pretty much what I gathered, but I thought that was a thing for mainly high 1st round guys. I just looked it up and it's becoming a way more common thing to do. Day 2 and 3 guys doing it now. I get it. But I think unless your a lock to go top 15, I think it'd be smarter to play. I think a nice game can help your stock than a bad game can hurt it. But if you're a fringe round 1/2 guy, it will most likely drop your stock some. I know most of the guys are playing for that second contract, but the pay scale for 1st round picks and 3rd round picks is still millions of dollars. Thoughts?
  5. Not sure what we could fetch for McCoy. A 6th? I can't be the only one who noticed how stagnant the offense was when he was in there. He had a handful of good runs and a nice game. But he is not the same bad man he used to be. The offense actually had a better flow when Murphy and Ford were in there. More 2nd and 7 and 3rd and manageable type downs.
  6. Would be a nice add. Kid has soft hands. I remember watching some of his games leading up to the Cuse/WVU bowl game. Still don't understand why Grier sat out. Did he think he was a 1st round lock or something? He possibly could have played himself into rounds 1 or 2 with a nice performance. I just remember thinking that was an odd decision.
  7. Forced 15 missed tackled vs #16 UCF. I agree the MAC guys aren't as good competition, but his supporting cast was on the same level. I'm not sure if he'll be able to make NFL guys miss like that, but a lot of experts believe he will be a very good pro. Only time will tell.
  8. Don't get the Spiller comp here. CJ was a blazer with bad vision and poor tackle breaking ability. DS has elite vision, balance and had 93 broken tackles last season. Saquon Barkley had 94 the year before.
  9. Does that mean any back that doesn't run 4.5 or better is a "limited" back and will be "finished" bc they can't get outside?
  10. Good player. Blocks tough. Stats are nice, but receiving numbers are so dependent on qb play. Ta'amu was a pretty inconsistent passer. OJ Howard had mediocre stats, still got drafted 1st round. People slamming him for his production are probably the same ones who wanted DK in the first.
  11. Yeah. It's nice to actually have depth at the running back position. Looks like they are serious about the running game this year.
  12. Knew they liked him. But I didn't think they'd still take him after signing Yeldon. What, is he gonna get? 3 carries a game? I love his highlights, I've already watched every snap of his when I heard they liked him. But I guess they must've REALLY liked him.
  13. I think pass rush is higher need as of right now than talent at WR.
