Another player returned to the Bills (sort of), Duke Williams was added to injured reserve. Williams was waived on Monday with an injury designation due to an undisclosed malady, but he cleared waivers which reverts him to the Bills, albeit on injured reserve. Williams may end up on IR for the remainder of the season, especially if Buffalo sees a future for him in Western New York. The team and Williams could also agree on an injury settlement which would open the door for Williams to land elsewhere, or even return to the Bills later this season. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2021/8/25/22640426/buffalo-bills-tuesday-transactions-include-waiver-adds-wr-rico-gafford-dt-joey-ivie

By Ryan Talbot | rtalbot@nyup.com Little went wrong for the Buffalo Bills during their second preseason matchup against the Chicago Bears. Buffalo’s offense, defense and special teams were firing on all cylinders during the team’s 41-15 win. Some of the brightest stars of the game were members of the team’s rookie class with one specifically getting praised for his play by NFL.com’s draft analyst Chad Reuter. In his Week 2 rookie grades piece, Reuter gave third round pick Spencer Brown an “A” grade for his performance against Khalil Mack and the Bears. Here is what Reuter said about the offensive tackle. https://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/2021/08/bills-rookie-earns-a-grade-for-stonewalling-bears-stud-defenders.html
