  1. Pats are 11-3 and Denver is 11-3. Wouldn't the Pats winning next week, and losing to the Bills Week 17 put them at 12-4, and Denver winning the next two weeks put Denver at 13-3? So with Denver at 13-3, and with the Pats at 12-4, wouldn't Denver get the number 1 seed and get home field for the conference championship if it came to that? Edit: so in all reality, we want Denver to beat Cincinatti, but if they do, New England will have competition for the 1st seed in week 17 so they will likely have something to play for. I wouldn't want it any other way though.
  2. That's not true. We do need Pittsburgh, Cincinatti, and Baltimore to lose some combination of the last 2 games, but we won't be eliminated in Week 16. edit: nevermind I see what you are saying. So we are rooting for Pittsburgh Saturday?
  3. Is there any doubt that our offense almost gave away the game yesterday, and did give away other games that put us in the precarious playoff predicament that we are in? Orton is not the answer next year. Maybe Manuel is, maybe he isn't, but we clearly need another Vet. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for Eli. Doubt it will happen though.
  4. I thought they looked great. Not sure why people were freaking out
  5. Pretty sure Whaley has said himself that Ebron would have been the pick if we stayed at 9. I can't find the source though.
  6. Geez. Hoyer at 10? What?
  7. I think I read somewhere that on one of the run backs, a bronco player chop blocked one of ours. So one of our players got pissed which was the unnecessary roughness penalty or whatever. Should our players display discipline? Absolutely. The point is though, that the Denver player wasn't called on the chop block. How often are they not called? It is openly admitted that the NFL is widely inconsistent. You say our players should show discipline? Maybe they are just as exasperated at the inconsistent officiating as us? Maybe they are getting frustrated because football is a rain of yellow that widely affects the outcome of games.
  8. No I mean like slang when you talk. That's not really the same as those ones, but if it is a pet peeve of yours, I get it.
  9. I was looking at this as well. Someone on this forum recently brought up that we had basically a done deal to trade 1st round picks with Houston in the first round to grab Roethlisberger rather than Lee Evans. Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda. Can say this type stuff for every team.
  10. I think the map in the OP changed. Clicking the link, it looks like the majority of Texas gets Bengals vs Browns. Probably Manziel related.
  11. Anyone watch the beginning of the video? First I heard that the Rams sent out the 6 players they got from trades with the Redskins to do the coin toss. Pretty damn funny.
  12. They are available here if anyones interested They gouge you with shipping though. http://www.amazon.co...0?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I guess the going rule is to buy a size up because they run small.
  13. We did snap Peytons 51 game TD streak. A win would've been better, but our defense did their job.
  14. Or worse because they are always playing from behind Wins - 11 tds 2 ints Losses - 15 tds 13 ints
  15. Not really. Are we really saying #1 QB in the league or Orton? I mean if Cutler isn't good enough for us, who is? Edit: Would you have a problem with it if the contract wasn't so heavy?
  16. Andrew Luck has 4 less INT's and 8 less sacks across 12 games.
  17. The contract is a little much, I would agree with that. But I have no idea how you guys are saying he is garbage. The guy is throwing INT's (1st) sure, but he is also 5th in TDs, 5th in yards, pretty much 5th in completion %. You guys all realize we have Kyle Orton at QB, and the bulk of you claim EJ isn't fit to be on an NFL Roster. Geez, we act like we are replacing peyton manning. Like I said the contract is a little much, but you guys act like he would be horrible for the team. He would surely be an upgrade under a normal contract.
  18. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=0&season=2014&seasonType=REG&d-447263-n=1&d-447263-o=2&d-447263-p=1&statisticCategory=PASSING&conference=null&d-447263-s=PASSING_PASSER_RATING I think his team has played from behind a lot because of the Bears defense. If we shored up our O line to give him time, and our defense sticks together I think he could be better than he is, and throw less INT's. How big is his contract with the Bears?
  19. I agree. The 10th ranked QB and we draft a QB prospect to sit behind him for a few years. I'm ok with that.
  20. Ugh. Im not sure im willing to be gouged for $80 + $7.99 shipping. Thanks though...decisions, decisions. http://www.amazon.co...ls ugly sweater Edit: Ah they only have medium. I hear they run small and people should order a size up.
  21. Nice. Not sure how you are finding these but Ill just have to keep checking to see if they are ever in stock.
  22. Nice I looked there as well, but it hadn't come up for me. Probably because its out of stock. Darn.
  23. Mods feel free to move this, I just posted here so that I might get a quick answer. I'm going to a couple ugly sweater parties, and I love the idea of wearing a Bills ugly sweater. Problem is that the NFL seems to hate the bills, and I cannot find one on their site. They just flat out omit the team. http://www.nflshop.com/Ugly_Sweaters Somebody help me out? Please!
