I would hope you would be able to tell the difference between a post of substance, and a defeatist post that simply picks the most obvious of a 2 choice decision that adds nothing to the conversation, or the topic at hand. I don't see anyone in this thread realistically saying we are going to thrash the broncos. I see people talking about our playoff hopes, and what we need to get into the playoffs. I also see it riddled with "why bother, we aren't making it" posts. Do you see the difference? -

No one will stop me. People claiming me or any other bills fan have little common sense because I still believe is rather annoying. They can take their "common sense" and keep it to themselves. Every post does not have to be about the Bills winning every game, but every post does not also have to be a self deprecating rant about how we haven't made the playoffs in 15 years, we are playing against good teams that "we can't compete with" and there is no hope, and you have no sense if you think otherwise. But sure, go ahead and bash me. I was clearly in the wrong. Edit: I also don't know of anyone who predicted a 15 win season. I did however see a number of threads blowing up about giving up our "sure to be" 1st overall pick in the 2015 draft. -

You must be the guy that constantly complains that it "can't" be done. No one wants to hear that guy. We just want to root for our team for a playoff run. People also were projecting us for a 1 win season during the preseason. How did that turn out? -

Nice one haha. One game going wrong kills it though right? -
For these Bills, the playoffs begin Sunday.

This I mostly just filled in the NFC games randomly. We got a shot at 9-7 with a lot of help. Edit: We would need: Dolphins: L Ravens L Patriots L Vikings or Jets Steelers: L Bengals L Falcons W Chiefs L Bengals Browns: L Colts L Bengals L Panthers or Ravens Chiefs: L Cardinals L Raiders L Steelers W Chargers Chargers L Patriots L Broncos L 49ers L Chiefs Texans: W Jaguars L Colts L Ravens W Jaguars I think the Chiefs/Chargers situation is the least likely. I think the Chiefs don't lose to Oakland a second time which would put us out. The Chiefs would need to lose to the Chargers then, which would put the Chargers above us. Why couldn't we have won one of those damn tiebreaker games!!!! -

Surefire way to lose and sustain a high draft pick? Maybe? I don't know. -
Haha, that would be too simple. What if the QB meant to throw it?!?! Why make it so clear cut? The officials need a little wiggle room to be inconsistent!

Yeah, aren't they a bunch of people with full time jobs outside of officiating as well? TV and Highlight commentators should take a note from radio broadcasting. It is sad when I have to wait ten minutes to find out who that player was because I couldn't see the number. You have one job. In radio, they have no choice but to actually call the game or else listeners have no idea what is going on. I don't want to hear you and your partner talking about nothing important. I want to hear you talking about the game that is going on right now. That is the most ridiculous argument I have ever heard. I would like Blandino to look at the Giants Eli Manning fumble, and the Manziel fumble, and tell me what exactly is the difference.

10-6 is the easiest way to get into the playoffs for the Bills. However that is giving Miami, Cleveland, Cincinatti, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, San Diego, and Kansas City obvious wins. We have been shown 3 times in the last 2 weeks, that those teams may not even get those obvious wins. Best Case - we win 3 out of the next 4 and go to the playoffs 10-6. Worst Case - we win 2 out of the next 4 and depend on the above teams to lose a few more than they "should" My quick scenario -

Kills me that the (edit: add the rams) Falcons, and the Bucs almost did us favors 2 weeks in a row but lost in the last few seconds. Let's go Jets! -
Sammy Watkins was covered by a very good Haden, and was still open quite a bit, but Orton refused to look downfield to him.
-
Just pulled that up and watched it. Officials are so ridiculously inconsistent, how is it fair for teams to play against one officiating crew vs another who makes the types of calls in the Bills game?

Last chance...anyone want two club seats to today's game?

Take the raiders out and it probably skyrockets to over first -

I could go with we haven't been very good on the offensive side of the ball, but to say there is nothing about the play of this team that would suggest we are a playoff team is inaccurate. Our Defense and Special teams are top notch, and are playing top notch. If our offense can limit giving the ball right back to opposing offense, and wearing our defense out, then we can ride those playoff attributes to the playoffs. -

I don't think it's stressing out. I think it is part of the fun of football and the playoff hunt. I put together a spreadsheet of the important games. Making it in at 9-7 is very unlikely because we lose practically all of the tiebreakers. 10-6 is very likely though, however we have to beat either NE or Denver in their house, not to mention take Green Bay as a assumed win. However I gave the other teams a lot of games that maybe they don't win as well. So we never know. The below puts the teams at the following: Buffalo: 10-6 (6th seed) Miami: 9-7 Kansas City: 10-6 (5th seed) San Diego: 7-9 Baltimore: 12-4 (3rd seed) Cincinatti: 9-6-1 Pittsburgh: 9-7 Cleveland: 9-7 -
Ah he passed the eye test I see.

Tampa winning doesn't hurt us though. If the AFCN doesn't pan out with Cincinatti taking the title, then they could be the team competing with us for the wildcard. In that case, a tampa win would surely help us. Edit: That said, I don't think Tampa has a shot haha. Edit2: I just realized why the AFC North has such good records. I knew they played the crappy AFC South this year, but it never clicked that they also play the worst in league NFC South. Those 2 divisions have a combined 28 wins. 8 teams with a combined 28 wins 59 losses...... On top of that: the Browns played the Raiders (1-10) -

What happens if they carry him off the field? Insta-rivalry? -
Part of his success week 2 against Miami was they had Chandler running potentially illegal picks on coverage. It was one of the reasons he was open all game. I haven't seen that since that game. Just keep watching. Woods didn't become Sammy overnight. The coverage changed on Watkins, so Woods became a more viable target. Same thing with AJ Green and Mohammad Sanu. Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate. etc etc etc

No you got it all wrong. Two teams will each contribute a pro bowl lineman, and then those teams will share Kiko. Or cut him in half? They will figure it out, the thing that matters is that we have two pro bowl linemen now! so that we can draft good players!!!
